OFFICIAL Jordan Super.Fly Thread - Super.Fly 4 & NEW 5

Are you still playing in these ? I'd like to know how you feel about these after playing in them for a number of weeks. Does the zoom feel as responsive as the 28 se model ? I heard the se was not as springy as the shroud model.
I played in these for quite a bit and have really enjoyed them.  Very smooth shoe and it fits my game well as someone who plays fairly quick, but uses elevation/hangtime more to my advantage.

I will say, my hopes were a little too high for this three piece zoom bag.  You can definitely feel it, but it didn't blow me away by any means.   After playing in them long enough, I've concluded that you'll feel the zoom more in the 28 (both shrouded and SE versions).

I am tempted to see how the new CP3 feels.  Going to wait until those come down in price.  Plus, extremely curious to see what's in store for the Jordan 30 (I know everyone else and their mother feels that way too).

My advice on this shoe, if you can get them for $100 or less and are in need of a new shoe, it's a good buy.  I enjoy the 28/28 SE a little bit more, but these are not far behind. Hope this helps.

Duke, Kickgenius, Nightwing have done some pretty good reviews on the shoe worth checking out

^those are nice

Curious to know if anyone has tried a pair with the jacquard upper

they need to release BG's PE...always thought the gray/blue looks nice on the super fly series. the IDs don't have the blue midsole option. smh.

Just curious -- is anyone have interest in the Playoff version of these?

Looks like just a little better containment as far as an upgrade goes -- uses more of those lockdown straps than just 1 like in the standard model.

Thinking I will end up with a pair once they hit extreme discount

PO looks whack imo. Especially with that CNY theme.

Looks-wise, they are definitely worse than the original model.  Just curious if they'd be any better from a comfort containment standpoint

I never gave this shoe much of a chance, but they are nice.  Just sticking to my xx9 lows though.  When they hit the ultra low, I feel like I need to pick up at least a pair

i tried them on recently. the upper is really comfortable almost xx9 like. if they go down to $60-70 i may pick up a pair. otherwise i have enough other indoor shoes i play in currently; xx9, curry2, kobe x, melo m11, lebron 12 and 13.

Got the CNY PO in today from Jordan brand for review. Wrap style tongue and leather on the ankle and medial side (CNY is patent). Otherwise, all the se, although the Zoom feels better out of the box.

Interesting that the zoom is better out of the box.  Sort of an asymmetrical collar design? (at least slightly)  Interested on more thoughts.  I would consider a pair of the POs down the road for cheap.  Very happy with the XXX so far though...

Yeah, collar is higher on medial, slightly. The wrap fits really well too, but not that much better. Definitely wait for discount.

anyone copped the jacquards SF4? I'd imagine them to feel like the xx9 but supposedly lower to the ground which I'd prefer.

don't know about you guys but i find the Camo Green best looking abit like Bape, Black Camo looks good too.

The Jacquards suppose to wear just like the SF4, only difference is the material used on the upper, which is Fabric like. The SF4 standard has hollow around the ankle area, with Jacquards they are full fabric, so the uppder might feel more solid & tighter, it should be slightly heavier than the standard fuse, and will probably get scuffed easier if you ball with it. The lower parts are exactly the same as the standard.

Note that SF4 is designed for explosive plays like Griffin, while XX9 is more of a Guard shoe, so i'd imagine XX9 has better response?

For me i felt the lockdown is best when you lace up the top eyes, it doesn't give the unpleasant feel SF2 has when you do that. However I noticed near the front inner side of the shoe tend to flex inwards & poke your feet on the side when you bend your forefoot when you walk/run/jump, it can be irritating, hope it gets better after a while, not sure if they improved this on the POs.

Blake Griffin’s high-flying game is the source of inspiration for the new JordanSuper.Fly  5. With Griffin as the muse, Jordan designers created a shoe with a versatile build — combining a lightweight upper, inner sleeve and forefoot NikeZoom Air — ensuring lightweight responsiveness and ultimate lockdown.

Jordan Brand invited English artist James Roper to draw inspiration from the JordanSuper.Fly 5 in his artwork. Motivated by various kinds of art forms like cartoon, baroque sculpture, and fashion, James combined the explosive playing style of Griffin and the positive impact of ZOOM to create the artistic illustrations of the Jordan Super.Fly 5.

The Jordan Super.Fly  5 will be available exclusively in Greater China beginning June 30th, followed by a global release on August 1st.

I got my superfly 4 jacquards for really cheap and they feel like a lower to the ground xx9. I don't see how someone can say the xx9 is way better. These are a bit more supportive I guess while the xx9 upper is more free feeling. The midsole is more flexible than the xx9's, which I thought was weird since the xx9 is supposedly the guard shoe

It's the exact same cushioning/traction as the SF5. New designer did the upper, thank the LAWD.

I like the upper re-design on the PO, makes it look like an (almost) completely new shoe. I kinda dig it.

I do too. Looking forward to that. The only thing really wrong with the SF5 was price.
