The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt ===== In Stores Now (PS4, PC, XB1)

Spent like 3 hours running around the other night just playing Inn keeps, armorers, etc in Gwent. At first, I hated it, but now that I've gotten the rules down I really dig it.

Man I do t know what happen with the last few upgrades but my game is running funny. Frame rate, texture loading, hit detection, dialogue syncing and other things . It's assassins creed levels now.

I need to take some time and learn the proper way to play gwent. I somehow won my first game. Lost the second one.

Encountered a golem and gargoyle while playing yesterday. They were tough to beat but that witch who I was hanging with was blasting them proper. She has nice boobs too.

Haven't touched Gwent and don't plan on it
Yeah there's way too much else to be doing to spend hours on Gwent IMO.  That being said for the people that are into it - more power to you.  I just want to actually finish the game though.

I want to get into Gwent but it so cumbersome

I've won like 1 out of the 5 games i've played :x

Damn, that was rough.  I know I'm gonna mess this up since it was like 25 hours of playtime ago, but if you kill the tree spirit...you confront the witches and realize they were using you to kill the spirit in the tree, then because they always keep their promises, they tell you about Ciri, and you have a playable flashback where they found her, and were going to try to mutilate her by cutting off her feet, before giving her over to the wild hunt.  Obviously, she escapes.

You leave the wife there, then I went to visit the Baron's daughter in Oxen-whatever, and she says she's not going back, cuz she's a part of the church of eternal fire now.  Went back to baron, told him about where his daughter was and how he wasn't ever coming back...told him about wife, and he pledges to go there to fight the Witches to get her back, and asks for your help....which starts a new quest....Go there, there are witch hunters, eternal fire cats along with his daughter, and the baron all converged on the scene...some huge beast, sent by the witches, emerges and you beat it down. The wife is still bat **** crazy, but the Baron has resolved to take her to some healer to get her fixed up. Daughter wants to go, but her Eternal Fire boss tells her she has her duties to attend to now as a member. Everybody disperses. End quest.

damn dude where the spoiler

but i just finished this as well.. something was telling me to help that darn tree after getting played by the witches. But i just couldnt get over the fact there were dead bodies around the tree. Even a kid was dead by the tree. So i went ahead and killed the tree.

I believe someone described it earlier.
Basically the wife isn't able to escape from the Crones, and the Baron hangs himself.
With that being said it seems like killing the tree is the "good" decision.

you transfer the trees spirit to a black horse , which frees the orphans, but kills the whole village . also by freeing the orphans the barons wife gets turned into a water hag and dies. baron hangs himself in crows perch and the daughter is in the eternal flame. i don't know if you ever run into the tree spirit again . Also i never tried the dialogue to lie to the witches .

i swear everyone in this game is lying to you
that annabelle quest :smh:

Dead ***. Now I don't feel bad about being scumbag Geralt.

I'm the same as well.

I don't want to play Gwent, but they said you should familiarize/play more since there will be quests where you actually have to play people.

I was playing gwent against this guy in the emperor's courtyard, dude was throwing down cards with 10 and 7's on them. None of my cards go that high. I wanted to stab him.

I noticed this too.
I have some different glitches from you, but ever since the first couple patches my game has been acting a little funky. Whereas, it worked flawless straight out the box. Go figure :\

You gotta keep playing every bum *** player (inn keep, smith, herbalist) until you get a decent deck.  I now have a couple of 10's and one 15 card.

There's this one card, though, every time its played against me...I just know I'm losing that round...Its in the "monsters" deck and it automatically plays every other card in the players deck with the same name.  Dude's go from like 10 points to 30+ points with one card played.
