Man I haven't played since Monday I will b doing a lot of grinding this wknd starting tonight
 
CDPR has said they will spend their next 2 years devoted this game. They will then focus on Cyberpunk 2077.

I watched the Cyberpunk 2077 and it already had me hyped.  Glad to see that they're going to focus on the Witcher for a while though.
 
I'm like 30 hours in and I haven't even been to Skellige yet
This game is incredible. Both story and sidequests are meaningful and very feel rewarding. Gwent is a cool mini-game as well.
Been wiping the floor with every npc but I can't get the achievement anymore cuz I messed up in the White Orchard inn

I was about to buy the last copy at bestbuy but saw online there's a comic book bundle amazon was selling. So I ordered that and some hdmi cables. Gotta wait a few more days to play it.

There's a bug with the most recent patch where you may not get any XP from quests so that may be partially to blame.  I've been hesitant to play in case I got hit with it but decided to fire the game up today.  Did a few undiscovered locations and then decided to give a quest a try...of course I didn't get any XP from finishing it.

Oh well, guess I can take a break until they release the hotfix next week.

The XP and larger text patch should be out by the time you get it.
 
Good point. Repped. Can't wait. I've been waiting years for a Skyrim replacement.
 
Anyone also play dragon age inquisition? How is it?

man how do you defeat this wearwolf in the forest that you are trying to figure out what killing the citizens. Its near this big talking tree.

Level up your quick attack and use oil I forgot which one its is. Hit him with a few attacks them dodge with o when he gears up for his attack. Repeat. Read that book with all the beast it will tell you what you need to kill it

70+ hrs for me

Been doin a lot of side-questing and general slow play (races, gwent, exploring etc.)
Because XP is mostly tied to mission progress Im only level 18


Also, that Werewolf mission was a real pain for me too. I eventually returned when I was a couple levels above recommended, and solved him that way

Have any of you failed any missions yet?

The only one I've failed thus far is the Fake Papers quest. I'm pretty sure I saved the brother in law from the 3 waves of enemies, but when I went back to the guy to get the pass at a discounted price, there was no option for that; only to buy the pass at full price, get it at half price by using Axii or tell him his brother in law was dead. It appears that this is one of the most commonly failed missions due to the brother in law dying so easily.

I feel like I'm OCD about failing missions, but I guess with this type of game, you just have to move on.

i fought and lost a couple more times before reading yall replies, It seems like every time i attack theres green numbers popping above his head like he is regenerating health. Is that normal??

I will try the cursed oil next.

Yeah it's normal I beat him in like 3 tries. You have to use the cursed oil also there is a green potion which boost attack for like 1 min. Just keep attacking and dodging. Only fall back when he hears up to attack you. Keep that pressure.



What's the highest level you can get in the game? Level 18 and I'm still in novigard. Just got done fighting in the arena.
