Sound Bar question

I currently don't have any speaker setup currently on my TV. Just the speakers from the TV, so when I'm playing movies especially, I have to keep adjusting the volume up and down based on what part of the movie is on (gotta blast the volume when there's conversation and turn it way down for action scenes).

Will a sound bar help with that?

I don't think it would, movies are just made these way these days. What might help is set up your audio to Stereo mode instead of Surround Sound? If that makes a difference on your tv then the soundbar might help as those tend to have more and separate speakers so the sound and effect can be isolated to different speakers.

Also look in the setting for dynamic range and then set it as narrow as possible.
