I've never used Uber, but most of the Uber cars I see are Accords, Prius', or Sonatas :lol:

im confused because obviously if you own that car you dont need to be working for urber to make pennies

Not really. The guy who drove me said all he did was lease (or finance?) the car. All the servicing you need is in your warranty.

opportunity cost. You're putting hella miles on your whip pending your demographic but you're getting paid.
 
Mercedes G-Wagon in NYC and yes some people do really do uber for fun. Our driver was super cool and he said he was newly retired. He told us that he had no kids or family close by so this was a great way for him to stay social and keep up with what was going on in the city. He gave us some useful tips and said that he really enjoyed just being able to interact with all types people.

My pops friend, whos name is on a big car dealership in Houston does it for fun in the areas of midtown and rice village.
 
Taking Uber to the airport here, I damn near always get the same guy driving a new Malibu. Kool kat though. I've never seen a high end Uber driver/vehicle.

Pops been drinving for uber since 11. Started off with a minivan then Lincoln towncar now banks more with a 2012 burbon. Says all blk gets the customers with $$

do any of you guys use the "uber select" option?
its double the price of the uberX but you get picked up in luxury cars only i.e. Beemer, benz or a Lex
