White/Red / Cherry 12s To Release

Personally I don't like when they re-release the same kicks within a span of a few years. Seems to me that people could just track down the prior release, and that Nike in turn could instead release something that hasn't come out in a while.

I don't care about nicknames but the black/white 12's and 13's people call them playoffs but Jordan wore them both in the allstar game and all other shoes players wear in the allstar are called allstars so playoff 12 and 13 don't make sense

This.
That's why i rather refer my black/white-red 12 and 13 as ASG and not playoffs.

What about if the last retro release was trash / made & looked poorly

I agree with Jays25 it is pretty annoying when the same stuff gets retroed so quickly all the time. and who cares either enjoy the shoe for what it is or just don't buy it if you aren't happy with it

What shoe are we talking about ? White & Red 12 or Taxi 12 ?

Taxis were decent. Don't hate.

Son isn't allowed to critique something without it being "hate"?

I wouldn't be mad at a remastered pair of Taxis either, but we've yet to see the final execution on a remastered XII so it's too early to say that since more than a handful of these remastered releases haven't delivered on at least some level.

you must not have owned any of the OG versions out even the first retros. I'm not saying that to spew superiority but it's important that you know that the OG had the highest quality leather on the upper and "sunset" side panels than any Jordan's to date since the Italian made Jordan 2.The 12 was and is arguably still one of the most durable Jordan's from the 90s. The retros from 2008-present have been made with way flimsy leather upper, the "sunset" side panels are made with fake ribbed leather that can CREASE with a blow off the wind.

2016s 12s need to be 2003 12s quality or better than anything released in the past 8 years

While I think 2 years to retro is way too soon. Should be 6-7 years in between minimum. Taxi's were absolute garbage quality in 2013 . It is my favorite 12 colorway , but wish I could pay $20 more than 2013 to have a remastered shoe.

Had no problem with my pair of Taxi's personally. Then again, I also had no problem with the Infrared 6's or Sport Blue's (Minus the fact that I just wasn't able to get my size for the latter  which was all kinds of unfortunate) Stand by what I said previously, there's little point in releasing the same colorways again and again just a few years apart from each other. If the release wasn't what you wanted, better hope Nike gets it right next time and that quality is improved before then.

As someone who had the OGs I can fully endorse this statement. The original leather was actually leather not the wrinkled pleather feel of the 2013.

that's great, but seeing how the remastered 1s and 10s came awfully close to their OG and first retro quality it's not crazy to expect this off the "remastered" 12s for next year. Stop trying to defend the 2009-13 12ss. Come on bro

Wish they would retro the flint grey XIIs. We got two retro + og color ways of the IVs . Melo XIIs and flints would be nice next year.

Had the '09 pair, gave them to my cousin. I just hope that they use a brighter shade of red like how they did on the originals.

Any of you guys hoop in your 12's? Specifically, some of the newer ones like the taxis or obsedians etc?
