Let's not waste this effort on the nickname debates again
But this one seemed like it popped up around '09-'10 when these last retroed and the White/Red/Black XIIIs released, and was cemented by the time the 2012 White/Red XIV retros dropped.
Felt like a combination of young cats' infatuation with nicknaming every Jordan and older cats wanting to be hip. Definitely one of those nicknames that never made much actual sense. But at least it's better than "Candy Canes".

Best pair of Jordan's I have ever owned was the OG cherry 12s. When I compared them to my 09 flu games(red side panels, and the red leather before someone gets smart) and I was pissed because I knew the 09 Cherry's were just as bad. If they are anything like the 09 pair I will not even bat an eye

I still hope have that we'll get the OG height on the side panel. JB switched up the 7s in the middle of the year last year they can switch the 12s too!

I think we're getting both actually. The reverse 12s come out in june or july.

Oh it's not even a competition. Flu Games are a shoe i'll pick up if nothing else drops the month they come out this Summer. And if I miss out anyways I won't lose sleep over it. White/Reds are a must have that I have been waiting to drop again for a very long time now. Same goes for the French Blue's, which is why i'd really like to be able to get both in the same year.
Now if Nike can go ahead and start releasing some of the old Jordan 10's and maybe even a few of the 5's i'll be in business.

I have the white/red 12's from 2009 and there is nothing to complain about. Shoe looks and feels good I've worn them quite a few times and still look fresh out the box. If these do release I'll pick up the 2016 pair to hoop in.

really hope these drop in august or september. this might be the back to school shoe. if thats the case they will make a billion. it has always been easy to cop the the white red black back to school retros
