For real

NT trying to act like dancing hasn't been part of hip-hop since the beginning.

Even if I think most of these dances are lame, I can appreciate the spirit and I'm glad to see kids having a good time.

I swear 03-09 was the worst era for rap culture of all time. After Mac Dre died, it seemed like there were no more rappers willing to dance and have a good time on stage for a good 5 years. Yall really prefer a bunch of drunk overweight dudes in leather fitteds and Coogi jeans waddling back and forth while mean-mugging eachother on stage over this ?

Nah

You must have been in a coma during that time because 04 is when the dance **** started popping off specifically in Atlanta/South.

the bronx took a backseat and let these Brooklyn/Queens cats run wild out on these streets....that's what happened bro..
So we're gonna act like the Bronx wasn't irrelevant from the time bdp's run ended until Peter gunz and lord Tariq had their one hit wonder..? And then died again until lean back?

We're gonna act like queens didn't hold NY down with def jam? And provide a platform for rocafella and diplomat records..? Oh.

See street dudes can have fun without looking like lames.

Cam and the Diplomats for example.

Those guys brought varying types of entertainment into rap.

These kids in the video, on the other hand, look like they're trying too hard to popularize a ridiculous, idiotic looking fad that lacks originality.
