Not really feeling this whole revamped mycareer thing. All they had to do was bring back the D League and summer league. Frequency Vibrations? :rolleyes

I'm excited for myplayer but not so much playing as a dude name frequency

Hopefully I can change the name.

that player was created by spike specifically for trailers, previews etc. you can change your name to anything you'd like, but they wont be saying your name in cutscenes like we saw in the previews.

this is all from @dustin_toms on twitter

Yea, I can't NOT play 12min quarters, granted it takes a while to get through but the VC rack up is why I do it. I'll play a game or two in a sitting.

12min quarters in my player aren't bad because you get subbed out I couldn't imagine playing regular games like that tho

:pimp: beautiful. Couple of things I didn't like...

-Momentum on catching passes from screens is still a bit clunky.
-Play initiation still needs to be out further and quicker in the shot lock.
-They still haven't figured out dribble handoffs :smh:

All in all, the AI has improved tremendously. Very impressed. I'll play this game to death.

I don't even know why I bother watching these videos. 2K is 2K. Nothing will wow me until I feel the game.

Frequency Vibrations though ? :smh: I'm hoping I can still put my face in the game and change that name. It's awful. I must take my hat off to 2k and recognize the jump they actually made from last year. The animations, graphics, and flow all seem MUCH better and hopefully it feels even better. I still feel like the players are way too damn big and the spacing still seems like an issue albeit improved but it still needs to be fixed. I'm guessing that's an engine issue but at least it seems like they actually recognize it's a problem. Hopefully that JJ Reddick blocking Harden rarely happens because that's something that shouldn't.

Yea 2K10 was the best game spacing wise, they scaled down the size of the "sprites" (remember that word). But yea, the players always look so damn big.

Also, the block by JJ Redick isn't something I would trip over. We saw one, we don't know how often it happened before or after that. Small sample size to assume it is a flaw in gameplay design.

But the developers said that this was an older build and things have been adjusted

what camera angle do you all use?  I'm stuck on 2k simply because it's what im used to but i need something else cuz i don't really like it

I use 2K because I need to see the whole floor and also, I am used to it.

But I think playing on the same angle year after year accelerates the replay value the game ends up having for me

Since that angle isn't really "graphic friendly" I am essentially looking at the same game year after year

beluba is a decent angle

used broadcast for a lil while but didn't really like it...

2K needs a better broadcast angle where you can see the short corner better. I found myself playing on nosebleed sometimes

Yea Nosebleed was my go to camera angle when I wanted to see the whole floor while wanting the side to side view.

I also played on ISO a lot in 2K8. It is the NBA Live view. When I watch CPU vs CPU games, I use that angle.

re: 12 Min quarters, I can't play on anything less honestly.
