video looks nice. if 2K could get to a point where they replicate the game atmosphere in exhibition, regular season, playoffs and finals more closely i would be happy. a regular season game at oracle arena is nothing like that video. its a playoff atmosphere every game in that arena.

excited about the AI performing better. i want to see how much of it is real and how much is just fluff and talk.

regardless of if those cocky devs admit it or not, every year, with every game there is something that they hype up that doesnt translate at all in the game.

Seen this on another site

More in-game interviews it looks like?

That will be skipped by October 4 anyway so it doesn't matter honestly.

@rck2sactown  @rck3sactown  , **** you Racktown

Gonna be funny as hell when the game comes out and a month later it's gonna be the same exact game and none of the things they said are new about this game won't even be noticeable.

Happens every year.

Give it a month until the go to moves get exposed.

is it me or does that last vid up there with dude playing everything looks mad awkward...

when you pass players stop and think about the pass...and the way the players catch the ball...

after all these years these dudes still tryna upgrade the filler **** rather than make the actual game play better....

+ the first month lag issues will be there again i guarantee...so this game isn't even worth buying on release day...even though i will be :smh:

It's okay ^ I'll be buying it on Sept 25th also, and if there's a problem that comes up, I'll be playing MGS

I just hate the overhead pass. It looks so stupid seeing players throwing overhead passes to guys 5 feet away

I agree on the crowd interaction and atmosphere being a little more realistic. I know people would hate hearing this, but I would be completely fine with them focusing more on simulation aspect of the game instead of MyPlayer. When they MyPlayer was added to the game, I think a lot of their attention went away from the seasons/playoffs, in game stuff, etc. I do think they did better this year putting their focus back on that, but a lot of the things they have I don't even play at all. The only reason I play myplayer is to play in the rec or park, but outside of that I rarely actually play any MyPlayer games. The MyTeam stuff I never touch.

I would be completely fine with them taking MyPlayer out the game  . I know its not happening of course.

Never played my team not once, never will probably lol.

The close overhead pass is the most unnatural thing still in the game smh. Still haven't fixed the dribble handoff. Should just make it the same way live has it now.

Never got into the MyTeam/Ultimate Team, ect modes in any sports games

am I missing out?

That's all the FIFA thread literally talks about

ALL OF THIS.

ALL OF IT

cp3 over russ ? , russ being under 90 , kyle lowry and teague under derrick rose and conley ? literally makes no sense lol

Cp3 def over Russ. The hell yall boys smoking
Steps being 3 overall pts away from Cp3 is also funny, but he's the cover boy and coming off an MVP and Chip, so I get it.

Wall>Kyrie
Teague>Rose & Lowry

Hope this thread doesn't go in this direction though :smh:

[thread="627394"]Here we go with arguing overall ratings that are separated by fewer than 3 points. Folks, that stuff doesn't matter when you aren't comparing players of the same ilk. [/thread]
[thread="627394"] [/thread]
[thread="627394"]CP3 and Westbrook are two completely different types of PG's. They aren't judged on the same "level."[/thread]

why wouldn't we? you think they aren't? You think when that list hit Russ aint feel some type of way? Or Steph aint cheese knowing he's #1 on it. Its competition homeslice. 1 point or a million points, ranking is ranking, even by a video game, especially since it's literally the only one that matters and everyone plays it. 2 players ranked 87, yet one is 4 and one is 5 instead of them being tied at 4th.

I am just explaining how 2K ratings work. It isn't as simple as compare overalls. You have to look at the PLAYER TYPE first and foremost.

CP3 will be listed as an All-Around PG

Westbrook will be listed as an Athletic Star PG / Finishing Star

So they are judged (out of 100) based on their player type.

And if anything, you should look at it as a TIER system if you are going to just blindly compare overalls and if that is done, you see an accurate representation of the current NBA scene.

But I know it is fun arguing overalls but that just isn't the right way to look at their rating system

Any news on a face scan app for 2k? The Live one was easy and quick this year.

The face scan thing was a horrible idea, not only did it take forever to get a semi-accurate scan but it was just a horrible process all together. There were so many deformed lookin players in MyPark it was just ridiculous. Alot of people that I personally know got good results after numerous tries but the overall scan looked nothing like the real person. I can't lie tho, I fell for the scan hype and bought the PS4 cam and never took it back ...this year I wont even waste time on that crap.
