Also, another thing that bothers me about 2K is the conversations/lines/dialogue in MyPlayer sounds like, "People NOT from the hood writing lines the way that they think people from the hood speak." If that makes sense. It is like sterotypical "urban" conversations that just comes off as trying too hard.

I agree with this.

That kills me. Kind of ruins a lot of the scenes when he throws in a 'nahmean' in for no apparent reason during a press conference.

But I mean, what more could I expect from a game with a guy like Ronnie2k representing them.

I get the same feeling. **** sounds so damn forced. It's like that's what they think NBA players from the hood speak like. :smh:

facts bro/sis.

the real question is, why do they assume or decide that that is where you came from? plenty of players came from privilege. plenty went to prep schools and hooped. plenty came from the suburbs. why is it they make your guy have such a struggle background?

also, I foresee in the next few yrs they're going to adopt a steph curry/austin rivers type story line, where you're the son of a vet just trying to find your way in the game and you have the ability to be absolutely amazing, or austin rivers.

I wonder if we all are going to have the same generic family, or they will just switch the skin tones up depending on how your player looks.

Cuz in the trailer, the myplayer had a light skin family since he was light skin.

Can't say I'm too excited about that "build your brand" stuff. Looks very extra.

you already know that bro. this aint the sims. we're all getting the exact same fam and they're all going to say the exact some nonsense at the exact same time. I wonder how many times they hit him up for money. spike finna bite the whole first season of survivor's remorse.

You can attribute that to Lebbywinks
