You can't just look at the overall rating.

Most likely cp3 is labeled as an all around pg

Russ Athletic pg

Steph. Offensive star / pg

So they are all different and have different skill sets. And as a result you wouldn't just look at the overall to determine who is "better."

What's his weakness from a basketball perspective? And if you mention 2nd round, you don't know ball.

Arguably the best defender at his position.

Shot near 50 40 90 this season. Led the Leage in assist. Rebounds well from his position. 19, 10 & 4.5 2spg 50/40/90. From a PG rating perspective, where does Cp3 have a hole in his game?

Same with Bron, KD, and AD.

It is a simple concept to understand. Not seeing why it honestly bothers you, as if great players will purposely get shafted or something.

at the end of the day ratings are useless in 2k, its all about how you use the player

but live is looking like its reincarnated, gotta see gameplay footage
 
Again using exaggerations isn't needed.

Shooting and athletic ratings are the most important but to say nothing else matters is a flat out lie.
