SUSPECTED because they aren't openly claiming white supremacy, but their speech and actions show evidence of their support of it.

Kid seems slow. His parents probably speak more freely around him because he's slow and they figure he won't pick up as much of it or they assume he won't understand. Most racist parents probably talk this way when they think their kids can't process what they're saying but they'd be mistaken.

Biologically race isn't a thing so we're discussing completely a social construct that takes on tons of contrary meanings that people used to further their agenda.

Nobody wants to be told they are an inferior person. Racism isnt exclusive to a certain color, there are racists and biggots in each race.

Also, white people as a whole are different. There are many different subcultures within the white community, and 99% of white people that I know are not racist, and are sick of everything that is going on. Admittedly there are a couple who I do know are racist.

I am white, and it sucks that I am being incriminated because of what my ancestors MAY have done. I'm half Italian, my family didn't even come over until the 40's, yet people still blame white people as a whole for things like slavery and oppression. Slavery as a whole is a stain on humanity, but it is not exclusive to any race, every race has been slaves, or has owned slaves at some point.

The media has manufactured a "me vs. them" mentality throughout the last year, and it puts a lot of people on edge. When you say things like that , it further amplifies this.

I know you didn't mean that in a negative way, just thought I'd give my feelings on the issue. With that being said tho, it is important to be proud of your ancestry, and appreciate other cultures as well.

How many of them are doing anything to stop the police assault on unarmed black citizens?

Or doing anything to tear down the prison industrial complex?

Are any of them seeking the reform of our skewed criminal justice system?

When people say things like this, it's just like talking about "good" cops who gives a damn how good you are or how racist you aren't if you aren't doing anything to stop the system of white supremacy in this country.

That wasn't what I was trying to imply, my apologies. Also, when I was talking about the media, that was mostly directed towards white people: the media is making it seem like black people are rioting and looting, just for the hell of it, and that is not the case. Once again, sorry if I offended you.

I do what I can. I am far from an activist, but I try to promote kindness towards everyone, and when I hear people being racist I check them. That is about all I can do at the moment.

You can support criminal justice reforms, redistribution of tax dollars so poorer schools get An equal cut, you can vote for true progressive candiates, write your representatives letting them know as a white man systemic racism is something extremely important to you, you can donate to cause that help black American fight justice, you can protest peacefully with black Americans, you can try to educate yourself on the issues facing the black community and actively try to educate others around you

Brah there is a lot you can do. There is a lot every white American thay claims to sympathize with blacks can do....

But most choose not to nothing.

Stop offering up olive branches, and start offering a hand.

That would help
