Virginia Mom Arrested For Leaving 8 Y.O. Home Alone While She Got Turnt For Memorial Day

A weekend with pre cooked food? Please. That Saturday morning would have been LIT. I'm talkin 'bout using the salad bowl for cereal, Cow & Chicken on full blast, AND me and my ninjas playing crash bandicoot all day

I imagined this while reading

And when I was 8, I use to spend summer days home alone. Granted it was only like 7 hours while mom dukes and poppa bear was at work.

First time I spend a weekend home alone was when I was 13. My parents took my older bro to some college open houses in PA, so they spent da weekend in a hotel. I held down the fort, mom dukes and poppa bear kept the fridge stocked, pantry stocked, and their bedroom door unlocked so you already know a young ***** like myself was about to be sleeping in the King size Serta. All Facts. Not to mention, we had the time Warner cable on demand popping off, so i stayed watching movies with "strong sexual content" listed under 'warnings'. That was the first time i saw the movie "Showgirls" and "striptease". Straight Facts, B. Shoutout to TMC on demand and Cinemax on demand. We had the free adult films popping off all throughout the night, B. And them joints ain't even pop up on the bill. Hahaaaa
Just had to make sure I cleared the "recently viewed" category before i blow my spot up.

Them were the days, boy.

Nothing wrong with this. Your guys's "house" probably wasn't big enough for you to get into trouble. Maybe pull a muscle from not having the ability to do a full stretch without hitting your walls, but overall, rather safe.

The world is becoming more and more weaksauce (at least in America) day by day. It really is amazing to me that kids nowadays aren't allowed to/don't have the option to just head over to a friend's house and ask if they can come outside to play. The pendulum will eventually swing back to a more "natural" way of living once we are more used to technology (word to Kashyyyk) but this current generation coming up is getting the worse of it.

Y'all parents really left y'all home alone at 7/8 years old :smh::smh:

That's disturbing

Wtf are you babbling about? The mom left her kid for a weekend to get "turnt up" and left him canned eat to meat to eat. "Weak sause"? I guess you're ok with that. The world is soft now because moms can't leave their kids for multiple days to get wasted. :smh:

What part of this situation o you ant to be allowed to keep happening??

No excuse for the deadbeat mother but where is the father? That would be insane if the father actually wants to be him the child's life but the mother just wants to collect a check

Happens more often than you think.

One time for all the fathers dealing with the system.

Given this situation I'm willing to bet this is the case. "Single mom" that gets everything paid for.

My bad - I went off on a tangent. This situation is so messed up that there is really nothing to say about it. Her leaving him alone for a weekend.probably helped his devlopment being away from such a poor role model.

This leaving kids at home stuff is way overblown in general though. This case is clear negligence since 8 is too young.

I'd have no problem if responsible parents left a responsible 10 year old home though to have a date night once in a while. With the amount of tech and communication abilities out there today it shouldn't be an issue. Most 4th graders are pretty responsible.
