Definitely true....I used to organize an event for charity in which corp teams paid $XXXX to play on the floor of MSG -- it usually was thematically RE vs banker boys -- and the number of 'game worn' jordan jerseys that came out on game day along with other memorabilia was too funny.

Yup... Definitely a "collectors" item... Hence availability and price point... People will always have a reason to complain regardless of price. Ya'll got to realize people paid 3k for Jordan 1 Just Don straps twice.

Are these packs even highly regarded? The 1's look like trash IMO which makes this pack even less worthy of a cop if someone even presented it to me for retail. Plus paying 700 is just ridiculous money being thrown around.

You guys are silly JB is just pushing boundries at the retail level IMO. They see what happens in the secondary market and why not try to cash in, it's smart on their behalf.
The pack is nice but not at that price point i mean the OG DMP didn't even retail for that and it's 1000000x better thatn this just my .02

Seems like everybody is hating on the 1's...I love 'em and would gladly take a pair off someone's hands who doesn't want their size 16. 
I personally love this pack...had it been $300-$400...I definitely would've bought it. $700 was just too much for me.

I personally do not like this pack. But JB is just testing the waters with this price point. People are willing to drop 5k resell on Yeezys but complain about this price point. JB is just trying to capture the high end sneaker market with this pack.

I am a proud owner of this pack and couldn't be happier.
Can the price be justified? Probably not. The materials are excellent just not $700 dollars excellent. And I cant think of any sneakers worth $350 on materials alone. Name and hype play the biggest part on this price point but that is how retail, free enterprise and the world we buy sneakers in works.
I also look at it as an alpha & omega pack for myself as I begin to distance myself from the ever increasing price point of sneakers. Especially with the resell rape game being what it is today.

It's funny that people complain about the retail price of this pack but yet had no problem paying $450-$500+ for resale on Chicago 1s in May.
I wish JB increased prices on EVERY hyped limited release so they people who really wanted them could get them without going to a reseller. If Chicagos came with a $350 retail price tag, everyone could've easily copped.

Super fresh, the XX9 IMO is the freshest J to make it out since the 13 (or 14). This is a clean look on both pairs.

If I had it like that I might have tried to cop. This is one of those "where were you when" joints (ie DMP) you want to hold on to. Quality looks pristine too.

LMAO. 700!? they do this everytime. get people fixated on 1 shoe and throw in cannon fodder to "justify" the purchase. to me they would need to make both with that leather to even entertain the $700 price.
