At $700 retail and limited... i bet they still sell out quickly unfortunately. Wonder how ridiculous those ebay prices will be looking.

bout $750-800...packs never do too well unless both shoes are nice...ie pantone pack...

7 hunnit!?  JB is clearly testing the market for pricing with this one.  Something is only worth what you're willing to pay for it.  And in this instance, I'm not willing.

I wouldn't be willing if it were 300, let a lone SEVEN? JB needs to quit the smack.

I'm not surprised at the pricing at all.  Nike is probably watching the ridiculous resale market and seeing all the money that they are leaving on the table.  Shoes they sell for $160 are going for $450 on eBay.  I'd start raising my prices too.  If people are willing to pay ridiculous prices then why shouldn't Nike be getting that money?...it's their shoe.

The quality on these are going to be on point ...

I imagine $700 is what you have to pay for the quality you'll be getting.

Pretty much. If a shoe resales for $450 that cost $160 at retail, then the true market value for the shoe is $450. $450 is what people are willing to pay for it. JB might as well close the gap from the retail to the resale price.

Is this their attempt at a high end sneaker akin to Gucci, Prada, etc? Or is the quality similar to their normal sneaks and they are just going buckwild with the price.

I like both shoes, and would cop if my net worth was in the millions.

I agree with both points, but if Nike is thinking with logic, that would be putting too much "stock" into the whole demand thing. Shoes sell for 450 resell because people panic after the initial release is "sold out". I guarantee if nike starts setting retail prices for shoes at 299+, the whole aftermarket model will crumble, because if the shoes lack hype or fail to"sell out" half these resellers wouldn't touch them due to decreased demand.

250 should be the limit honestly. We all know nike will never increase stock so I can see 250 still being a win. They only cost what maybe 6-7 dollars to make. 250.00 price tag would be almost double what they make now on retros.

But in my opinion, the resale peeps need to be cut out of the equation anyway.  Nike should double the price of their shoes...that way there will be no profit left in it for the resellers.  And then someone like myself, that has money, and who is too dang busy to be glued to my computer or camping out at the mall, can just walk into a store 2-3 days after a release (or whenever our schedule permits) and just buy the shoe we want.  I don't have a problem making Nike rich...its' their company.  What I have a problem with is making resellers rich.

I definitely would rather pay nike instead of the resellers, still feel the 250.00 price should be the max retail

My honest opinion is this is a tough pack. Im really feeling both kicks, but I can't give JB 742 after tax. just nah, they really out here tryna make sheeple outta the some of these sneaker consumers. As I said both shoes to me are A1 but again nah, JB nah. What will they fetch for next. :nerd:

For those of you who don't mind making Nike rich I don't completely understand why making a reseller a little extra dough is so bad. If I had the money I dont necessarily care who gets the cake so long as I get what I want.
I get it if you can't get what you want because of the resellers but it is Nike's issue to handle bots and what not. For example the Chi 1s are on my grail list and I love 1's but I will not pay 400+ for them whether it be to Nike or a reseller. I want this pack but 700$ is past the limit. 500 would reel me in though :smokin
