I'm guessing you all are over thinking about these. The 88s released in 2013 way before the remaster started. Why the **** would JB put a Jumpman on the insole or outsole? Before one of y'all say "they did it on the'88s", think about every OG that had Nike air where there was a Jumpman before.

They would put it on the outsole because it saves them the small effort of having a separate run of soles pressed up with that Nike Air mold, as opposed to using the same blank sole with the Jumpman mold in it that they'll be using every other IV next year/been using on the IVs this year.
What they've done for the other remastered pairs doesn't mean much here because none of the pairs that have released so far have Nike Air in any place that would require meaningful changes from the non-Nike Air pairs.
I see it, and the money that would be paying for them would be coming from my pocket so no one else's eyes matter to me but mine.
Not even saying that I care about the Nike Air on the outsole, but this "it's only an issue if it's visible to the world" mentality will never stop being stupid to me. I don't **** with sneakers for anyone but me.

I know right, @airdhazzal. I'd just WISH they fix the D*** height. I mean HOW F***** HARD is THAT!!!? They made the height on the Chi & Shattered 1's HEIGHT like the 94's, How & WHY the F*** can they NOT make the 4's the 99's. As far as the 4's that @Water Runs Dry posted the link too, they have to be fake, The SPACING between the I R on the heel tab is off like a MUTHA*****. It also looks like the WHOLE NIKE AIR LOGO will either fade, or just chip & crack away. The white leather USED also LOOKS like the some PLEATHER we've been gettin', like on the White/Infrared 6's.

i thought the 3 and the 4 were more of a mid-low shoe. the 14 was a mid-low shoe too. they cover half of the ankle.

Tinker has said he designed the 3 as the first mid cut bball shoe. I assume the 4's were done the same.

Look at the OGs. They are def close to a 5/8 mid. 4s have just gotten shorter and shorter. Yet the 1s high are back to their OG height *sigh*

It would literally take zero effort for them to use the proper "Nike Air" molded sole.
That Nike mold has consistently been produced for the Air Flight 89 since its initial retro run in 99/00.
Essentially these molds are readily available and it would simply be a branding call (or lack of appreciation for detail) if they wind up not using them on the AJIV.
The shared tooling for the AJIV and AF89 cut production costs tremendously back in the day.
Let's hope we see it on the IV again.

Agreed, zero effort but it all fits into their master plan. Good old supply and demand, Nike knows what they're doing.
