Only one store has had some sort of early RSVP for these so far.
Nike Forum (a legit Nike retailer) had a promo where if you purchase at least 1 apparel AND 1 footwear on a single receipt you get a guaranteed ticket for a pair of WC4s. Sizes though were FCFS so if your size was gone then you could reserve for a different size.
The locals here aren't too happy with this set-up for the WC4s, which I thought to be ironic since this system was also done for the 72-10s and no one was complaining back then. Goes to show how much the Filipinos love their 11s...
I guess I could have utilized this promo, considering I just got the Kobe 11 'Last Emperor' over the weekend, but there's another retailer that I'd rather purchase the WC4s from (who have yet released any sort of release information) mainly out of loyalty.
So I take it you're going for these too?

No, not buying has a greater chance of affecting change. Writing letters has a better change of affecting change. Making phone calls has a better chance of affecting change.
You really think Nike is going to go, we gave you Nike Air, we gave you proper colors, we gave you better leather. I'm still wondering why people have a sense of entitlement to retros. What retro isn't different? From Adidas, to Reebok, to New Balance to Nike Sportswear. All of them have changed in some form.
The fact is some of you will never be happy.

hopefully i should have a pair today for $280.00 piece of mind for one pair and retail if i got another
but i will agree $280.00 is better then paying $350.00

Great Info! As I have 2 pairs of 2003s and 1 2011 to compare them to. If they are better than the 2011 then I guess I can Live with it. the last cement ivs I had to pass after seeing the material be basically plastic. Again thanks for the info, its helped me quite a bit on making my decision. repped!

I said complaining has a greater chance of affecting change than saying nothing. This is fact. Posting on NT, writing letters - doesn't matter which, literally anything is better than nothing.
And simply not buying without communicating why, is useless because sales data can be interpreted any which way. No one's actually going to know it was the shape that made you pass, otherwise.
I mean, almost every positive aspect of a shoe like this, from Nike Air branding, to color, to quality of materials, is something someone somewhere once complained about. Consumer feedback is real and proven, so I'm wondering what you're still wondering about.

Those are better ways to actually accomplish something. If that what you're trying to do, or just complain? Nike Talk isn't part of Nike. You guys are making the same remastering complaints that have occurred over the past year. In every thread the same complaints are made about the shape. After all the IV's released last year, did you think the molds would suddenly be different on these?
Dude even posted the interview, and there was never a promise that the sneakers would be exactly like the OG. They said they would TRY, No reproduction, much less one 30 years later is going to be exactly like the original.
There is a remastering thread. Continuously coming in a thread to complain about a sneaker you aren't going to buy? And you claim to be doing it to enact change?
I'm a logical person, I don't see the logic in it.
