I'm just playing catch up on these shoes. Its more about the nostalgia factor and wanting to buy the shoes I never could afford when they came out back in 89 (I was in jr. high). The lV's were/are my favorite (Bred, Military and WC) and I remember being in awe of seeing some of my friends with them. While I totally appreciate the need to try to keep them as close to the o.g. shoe as possible the shape, netting, etc. isn't all that important to me. I'll just be happy if I can cop the day they drop.

I'm sure I'm not the only one in this thread who's interest is based soley on whether JB has actually fixed the IV mold.
Once we get some official pics we'll see whether the hype is real or not. If the mold and "remaster" is bull*** then JB can keep their NA logo and sell to the suckers

If this is the case, I'll spend 400-450 for a 99 pair. The mods overall have shown improvement in the past few months. Even the 7s have looked better. Hopefully they do the 4s justice. At the very least there should be a curve in the back and a non boxy toe box

As someone mentioned previously, they've already "remastered" the mold. It's unlikely that they're changing the shape from what we already got in 2015. It was also noted that these will be Teal 4 quality leather with the rest looking identical in terms of shape/mold; just NA branding.

This lol. I think it's funny a lot of people haven't caught on. Every OG color this year that originally had NIke Air, whether it be on the tongue / insole or heel, has had it so far with this whole "remastering" program. I see them continuing with this trend and it being the "norm" going forward.

I pointed out that the 7s that were original colorways were being released with nike branding while the retro+ were not and stuck to jumpman branding. I said that in a 7 thread and ppl were like "oh yea they put nike air on the insole, big whoop"
