Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro "White/Cement" - The Aftermath - NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING

More of a Jordan XI holiday type release. They buzz will be there from the die hards and the casual fans will take notice too. A lot will cook, but a lot won't. Hares and Bords were too easy.
Of course, but if they have more of these than OG 1s people would have a better chance is all I'm saying.

OG 1s are trendy at the moment within the sneaker community. Nobody outside really cares, considering the Royals, B/Red, Blk Toes, and Chicagos released already. Dont underestimate the amount of casual fans who will suit up for this release, also how many resellers who've been in hibernation will return. Even as a GR, the ratio to demand and the supply is very much so same as an OG 1.

Come on NIKE... Why you give us this perfect toe box shape on flight89's .... And this BANANA on Jordan IV ??? ... It makes NO SENSE...
View media item 1751469View media item 1751470 WHY ??? Can someone give me a really good answer on this question ????

Im sure its that Nike never really changed the mold for the flight 89s. There were no reasons to cut back on the cost since they only retailed at 90 bucks and were hardly released. The shape of the IVs has changed many times, and the main change in 2004 was surely to save on cost to maximize profits. From the Netting, to the height, to the tongue padding, to the leather, size of the back plastic tab and depth of the air units. They butchered them. Now they are constantly trying to repair a substandard 2004 mold instead creating a new one based off of 1999 or the Originals. After 2004, the CDP BC IV was the last of that mold and shape. At least 2004 to 2008 had good padding around the ankles. 2012s had a different shape, and now 2015s have a different shape.

But I agree since 2004 til now they have screwed up. Crazy world when the Jordan IV has looked like the poor mans Flight 89 and they cost almost double.

On a positive note, the 2016 white/cement looks improved from the On foot pics posted earlier.

Pros
Color has improved with more speckles
Tongue doesn't look as thin and as high
Netting is angled Correctly
Nike Air (Obviously)
Thank Heavens they didn't use the Horrid Tech Grey from the 2012s

Cons
Fake Netting is still used
Colored air Unit (which doesn't make sense for it being an OG series)

Of course, I never doubted that.  I'm speaking hypothetically.  If the release had more pairs than a semi-limited release like the Chicago 1s then it would give others it would give others more of a chance online; of course they will sell out but not in a few seconds like other limited releases.

I think this release will sell out in seconds. This is one of THE premier Air Jordan models / colors, and with Nike Air on the back. These will be harder to get than the Chicagos no matter how many they produce.

That's what makes this so depressing.  All of this talk, hype, and excitement, and the likelihood of getting a pair is so small....

The likelihood is small to none that these will be easy to get but never let that deter you. Go after the shoe like you want it, if you want it. Unless retailers decide to change release procedures we already know what it is...we all hope JB decided to up the production based on the results of the '88 III's, but don't count on it. If i strike out i don't think my life will be any different than it's been for the last 20 years I haven't had a pair of these :D

One shoe per transaction on online and you know how online will say "out of stock" but still have them available if the release is not limited.  Store wise a lot of factors affect the shoes availability to the public; Backdooring, rigged raffles, and corrupt store associates/managers.  These are not claims but opinions my friend.  What I'm saying is not set in stone nor is it fact; it is purely speculation and hypothetical (if they were to make enough pairs as a standard GR).  I have to justify my thoughts because we are in a hype beast/resellers world which doesn't care about the stories and memories these shoes bring other.  If you want to side with them that is your choice but I'm going to try my best to preserve the sneaker hobby.

If they make them limited, yes this is an iconic Air Jordan Model/Colorway which will come close to OG form but what I've been stating through the past couple of pages is if they were not limited but actually a standard GR which would give people a more of a chance to secure than a limited release.  Sure it will be difficult I'm not denying that, but if they produce a good bit of pairs people will have chance to secure.

Wouldn't be surprised if they're around the same numbers as the 88s.. aren't these releasing all star weekend like those did?

Yes, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did the something like the Chromeposites, release them exclusively for All Star Week and then release them to the public.  I hope they just release to the public.

It's an og colorway. it won't be limited

This guy just baffles me, dude lives in la la land lol

Anyways hoping for 1 pair for myself and as many as I can get to resell....lmao

88s went down in resell price before the JB announcement of no more 3s. I picked mine up last year for 3 VNDS now it's hard to find for less than 4. I imagine the same for these, presale prices high af doe.
