I thought so...

I seen them on an old episode of "A Different World", Ron & Dwayne Wanye were rockin' em with the thick plastic hang tag.

I was just makin' sure, because the OGs in the pics I posted had the thin tag from 99's attached to them...

Repped when I can again fam...

It was a thick hard plastic. Not a thick "rubbery" tag like the one that came with the '88s.

I heard back when I was just lurking on here it was the 2012s @AirSakuragi. The CDPs look better because they had durabuck like the OGs. But, I heard the midsole cracks quicker, and worse than the 2012s. I also heard the CDPs were uncomfortable, I wouldn't know though. I never owned em.

You see what I mean about the durabuck material? The white outline along the cut makes a h*** of a difference.

Yes, I see what you mean about the durabuck material; pretty good. The padding kind of looks thin on some pictures though. For right now I hope to secure the 2016 Remastered Cement 4s and worry about these later.

The Fresh Prince don't buy either!!!!!! The CDPs are flimsy, CREASE easy, and the paint with wither away right before your eyes! The 2012 pair is key lit but the paint sucks on those too! Just wait for the next retro and don't waste the hundreds you'd have to pay for the 2012 or cdp pair anyway. I guess I was right @jaylaw15 about the paint cracking, and chipping, worse than the 2012's...

You're also right about them both costing a fortune too. I can't find a pair of the 2012's DS in my size for NO less than $400.

The CDPs cost EVEN more, but I just have real GOOD feeling that they will return with NA next year.

"Literally" does not make sense in what you were saying.

I cant believe they fixed the mesh. Unless that picture is deceiving me, they partially corrected it and slanted it as well.

Actually the og's were like that as well-they weren't perfectly parallel. JB got the netting right finally so I gotta give them props on that.

It kinda looks like if you pull on the netting to hard, it'll rip, or tear in that first new pic I posted.

I'll give them props on getting the direction right, but netting still looks kinda flimsy...

Anyways, here some more OG Fire Red pics I found...

The OGs make the 2012 look like FAKES.

I heard the quality was worse than the 2012 Black/Cements, and Military Blues too.

No, it's just because JB cut corners with the re-release. MJ had no issue with that.
