Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro "White/Cement" - The Aftermath - NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING

Are you talking about the leather on the heel?

mainly talking about the excess bit of leather in the seam at the center of the toe box. but i've also learned bad stitching on the heel is another tell tale sign for fakes. so i guess i'm asking if real pairs had either of those problems.

well damn

I never heard about that issue on the toebox with fakes, so Im guessing its not a feature of any real pairs
Someone with legit-check creed might help, I don't stay up in the legit check forums, JB keeps me busy enough just finding the failures in their authentic retros :smh:

Man those pix up there of the OGs are beautiful. I'm willing to pay top dollar if they just bring them back exactly the way they came in 1989. It so sad, the way things are. Horrible quality, high demand and high prices. It'd be better if I just build a *** time machine.

Seeing these OG pics makes me wish I still had my fakes from ten years ago. They were spot on to those Fire Reds. They only reason you knew they were fake was because there's no way I'd have that clean of a pair in 2005.

Man they used to make fakes that look better than the retros and people couldn't even tell. Like I've said before in this thread, I had a fake pair of white/cements too that everyone thought were '99's. I got compliments on them every time I went into a sneaker store. So scoff all you want, I'd much rather have an OG looking fake than these Aladdin curly toe remakes.

Yeah there are always bad fakes and that was the problem with buying them is you didn't know if you would get a bad one or a good one, but I got lucky and got good ones in all the OG colors of the 4's. The only thing that was "bad" about them is that they would wear out quicker, but when you're buying them for like $60 who cares. Just chuck them when they wear out.

I see what you're trying to say but this is simply false. You could easily spot a pair of fake IV's in 04-05. To the untrained eye, they'd pass. Particularly the blk/red pairs. The tell on them was the netting. It was straight, not angled. They took the netting on the fakes from then and put them on legit retros years later. The durabuck on the fakes looked good, but you couldn't be fooled by that.

You're 100% right the netting was the only tell, but how many people are that up close to your shoes when you're walking by.

That '99 Columbia Sample :smokin

Always been one of my favorites. I really wish JB would drop those sometime.

IIRC only the left shoe exists. Right one got lost or destroyed or something.

What if adidas released a pair of yeezys on the same day as the white cement 4s? I wonder how much easier it would be to cop these, although it's not likely to happen. Either way, both pairs will sell out instantly.

People are detail oriented only when it comes to these. I thinks it a ban wagon thing too. While it's a nice detail, I could care less about the meeting angle.

Why don't people want JB to fix the Durabuck heels on the Metallic 5s and infrared 6s? That detail has not been the same since the OG, but people campaigned for 3m last year.

Not saying people can't worry about different things at the same time but the netting thing is so redundant especially when there are other details JB omits that are far more important than netting.
