TRIP REPORT UPDATE

Alright, fellas!

I got a couple hours on this plane ride to type up a trip report from my experience of the beautiful Dominican Republic. So here it goes…

First and foremost, a HUGE shoutout to the gawd @VaGixxer for showing us the ropes while we were out there. Spent a few days with him & his boy and they allowed for the triangle offense to run seamlessly. Real cool dudes & I can say the trip wouldn't have been as good without them.

Now that I got that out the way, GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY… the women here are heaven sent. It's really hard to explain it to those who have never been to D.R., but once you come here, you can definitely
understand why some cats make numerous trips here every few months. (I can't vouch for the Western Union papis, though). It's gotta be something in the water and the mofongo ingredients. Glad we didn't do the whole resort thing or I would've thrown up knowing what I missed out on. The women in America do not compare in any category.

On that note, the food was excellent! From the food on the playa to the Jamaican dude's restaurant waving you down to try his Rum Punch & jerk chicken. If you don't like the food in Dominican Republic, there's no reason for you to have tastebuds or a passport. I think we ate mofongo every morning and drank at least a barrel worth of corona, presidente, rum & mamajuana.

As far as safety, I didn't feel the slightest amount of nervousness or danger out there (and I was these streets). That's not to say you shouldn't use the eyes in the back of your head and your street smarts! This is a 3rd world country and you can't walk the streets like this is the music video for The Pharcyde's "Drop". The girls are very touchy and will run yo' pockets faster than Marty McFly's shoelace self-tying system without you knowing. Any doubts, wear pockets with zippers or roll deep. Don't be too flashy or disrespect the locals! A simple "no, gracias" will go a long way. Most (if not all) of the locals are glad you're here so their businesses can stretch. Some don't even want anything from
you; just to ask if everything is okay.

Transportation-wise, we had a dope driver (thanks to VaGixxer) who was real cool. Got free drinks and top of the line service around Santo Domimgo and Sosua. Unless you're a veteran on Jet Moto for Playstation 1, I suggest you not to rent a motorcycle (or car) because dudes will swerve in and out of traffic recklessly and there's no respect for street signs or pedestrians.

As I try to touch all bases, I'll continue with the miscellaneous:
• Weather was excellent. Rained once for like 25 minutes.
• The nightlife is unforgettable. Once that sun barrel rolls under the horizon, it's on.
• Eat the mofongo (had to repeat that).
• Try to fly in to the closest airport from where you will be staying the majority of the trip!
• If you give a kid on the street some pesos, just be prepared for them to come back to you later. Yes, they're awake at 5am.
• One of my boys speaks Spanish, so I had no problem with the locals trying to talk crazy or translating my Fresh Prince pickup lines to the chicas.
• Life hack: The chicas love the morenos. :pimp:
• The clubs/bars were dope during the NBA Finals.
• Let me repeat, the women here are heaven-sent!

Overall, the trip was beyond what I thought it would be. I will definitely be back before the year is over.

Any questions regarding my trip or if
you're planning one, just ask!

My reaction every second.

1. Dont be flashy i.e Jewels/money ...they will murk you for a couple hundred dollars...
2. shouldnt even tell you this but bring alot of condoms...magnums i hope
3.not to familiar with sosua but in the capital (s.dom) if your driving you will notice not one person stops at a red light..doesnt matter what time of day ,whats crazy is its for security reasons.
4. If i were you I would go to Punta Cana for at least a night or two...very turisty but effin beautiful.
5. The really hot yambs are pretty stuck up...you gotta go to la venezuela...which is pretty sketchy/hood but your chances of gettin dem pipes cleaned are pretty good...cop a couple of bottles in one of those clubs and youll be god like.
5. Goes without saying be safe b and flourish

Yeah don't be too flashy, unless you rolling with some locals, other wise keep it humble, don't pull out cash, specially dollars in public.

Rent a car, if you in the capital, hit up Maximo Playa for a little cool ratchet time with some local yambs, just get a hookah, some presidente, a bottle of brutal and some fried fish and enjoy....then get on the road and head east, go to Bayahibe, which is about an hour and change away from te capital, catch the boat to la isla saona, flourish all around bruhs....then keep
Going east to last Terrenas, cool little brag town, probably the best beach in DR this is where the locals vacation at....is gorgeous and pretty safe....stay out there a couple of days.

Looking to party in the capital, go to la Venezuela and hit up the clubs, there is is this little lounge I like called Dial....is pretty chill and low key (sorta) if you want something more extreme there is this huge freaking club on that strip...forgot the name of it but you can't miss it....plenty of spots on that street to party in.

My friend goes at least 5 times a year. I'm convinced he has a kid out there

He tries getting me to go but paying for ***** is :rolleyes

Good stuff Pablo & Steez.

Keep it coming, fellas.

I wanted to bring a small film camera but I'm guessing that won't be a good idea since I'll stick out like a sore thumb that got struck by Thor's hammer.

Nah man, bring it....is sort of funny, letting it be known you are American will bring a flock of chicks...also brings a flock of grimmey dudes trying to profit off ya, just don't go out there and be a punk, specially if you step outside the resort...let them little ***** not to **** with you....they not out there to hurt tourists fam, trust that if some dude tries to pull a fast one on us and try to hurt ya, the other locals will light him up for messing with their food....tourism is probably the one thing that feeds all these families the most.

Ohh yeah just stay away from Calle Duarte bro...,

Aye OP, I just peeped you have 718 in your SN

You from NY?
Just let it be known down there that you from NY and shorties will flock to you faster than Atlanta residents to a gay pride parade. Facts.

Say "water" and "coffee" around em, and panties are bound to drop. Instantly

I can't do the touristy spots in dr. Gotta keep it funky. I know cats who fly all the way to dr from la, stay in a resort in punta canta the whole time n be like "yo! I went to the dr!" [emoji]128527[/emoji] word!?

OP where did you find your deal and how far in advance did you book it? Looking to go to DR here soon

Booked everything about a month+ in advance. Will be staying at Casa Linda (private villas in Sosua) but as far as Santo Domingo, I forgot which hotel, we will be at.

I will definitely update with a trip summary sp be sure to stay tuned.

My man! :pimp:
I will keep in touch for sure! What's crazy is, my brother was just telling I won't ever talk to a non-Hispanic girl ever again after this trip.

I heard dudes go to DR & come back ruined because the girls in the states are so "ehhh".

Also, we didn't want to do a resort for DR as we love to enjoy the people, culture & lifestyle in its truest form so we rented a car.

It can be enjoyable...I usually split my trip, 5 days with the family in the hood and 5 days in a resort, can't say I don't enjoy the resort life too...specially resorts like the Hard Rock...that joint is too dope!

I frequent Sosua, Cabarete, and Puerto Plata every few months.

Mostly Sosua.

Holla with any questions via PM.

Me and my boy are thinking of shooting down for the weekend this coming week.

Classicos is :smokin :smokin

Make sure you hit it up. DO NOT grab a chick in there until after midnight. That's when the superstars come out.

Don't look chicks in the eyes unless you want them.

IF you're getting a villa stay in Hispaniola or Casa Linda. Villa prices are great. Victorian House is the way to go if solo or with one other person.

Don't go around being Cheapy Cheapy papi.

Sosua is a very small town and word will get out about you quickly. If a chick or a local tries you TAKE THE L. Don't be a hero. You will get locked up with the quickness etc. Protect your money in your pocket as the chicks and little kids on the street will try to pick pocket you.

Remember YOU ARE NOT IN THE UNITED STATES. The game is different there. Keep your Jordans and jewls at home. No chick in DR cares what name brand is on your gear. Just be clean and neat. If you make yourself seen or noticed dudes there will try you.

Take a taxi one day to Puerto Plata and hit Field of Dreams or Blackbeards I think it was. Walking in one of those places in an experience in itself.

Be safe and wrap it up. Don't become a western union papi when you get back to the states and remember that EVERY CHICK IN SOSUA BELONGS TO THE GAME. SHE DOESNT LIKE YOU NO MATTER WHAT YOU THINK.

Also, I know it's hard but don't put the city of Sosua on blast. Things are already getting tighten up because of dudes from the states coming down wildn ( Meaning our younger generation)

Have a great time and enjoy. Sosusa is Disney Land for grown men. You can go to other cities in the DR and have a great time but nothing is like Sosua.

Punta Cana is for the tourist couple trips and Groupons

Puerto Plata is a low grade sosua but still toursit.

Sosua is straight up DR with some Europeans hanging around.

Remember. Rumbas during the day, Classico at night.

Flourish. :nthat:
