Madden 16 PS4 League - Preseason starts after first roster update

WAR ROOM: PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

image.jpg

As touched on earlier in the Dallas preview, the Philadelphia Eagles played the role of ultimate underdog quite admirably in Madden 15. DanyoSahn led Philly to seven straight wins in Season one after a 3-6 start, en route to capturing the final wild card berth in the NFC. The Cinderella story lasted all the way up to the NFC Title Game in Minnesota, where the Vikings routed the birds, thanks in large part to Adrian Peterson. After a rough second and third season, Danyo's Eagles would rebound in Season 4, clinching another wild card berth and upsetting the Seahawks in Seattle before falling at the hands of the Panthers the following week...

With Danyo running operations in Dallas, the Eagles have brought in another owner with a little playoff experience of his own. Can @Da_Assassin09, who owned the Buffalo Bills and led them to a division title in the last full Madden 15 League season, get his talents to carry over from the AFC to the NFC? Time will tell...

:pimp: STRENGTHS :pimp:

image.jpg

At times, NOBODY knows what Philadelphia Head Coach Chip Kelly is doing with his personnel. In just the past two offseasons, we've seen Nick Foles traded for Sam Bradford, both DeSean Jackson and Shady McCoy shipped out of town, and Jeremy Maclin not retained after a breakout year...

It matters none.

Despite the roster overhaul of sorts, the Eagles come into Madden 16 with, possibly, their best offense on paper in the Chip Kelly era. They can attack you in so many ways: youngsters such as Jordan Matthews and 2015 first-rounder Nelson Agholor in the receiving game, which will be punctuated by stud TE Zach Ertz. They can get creative as well, with backup QB Tim Tebow ready to be unleashed at a moment's notice as the ultimate wrinkle to the Philly offense. But the Eagles stable of backs have the potential to be amazing...

In comes DeMarco Murray, who easily led the league in rushing in 2014 with 1845 yards as a member of the Cowboys. In comes Ryan Mathews, who, when healthy, has proven he can be a Pro Bowl-caliber player, and worthy of the first-round selection the Chargers used on him in 2010. Darren Sproles is getting no younger, but he isn't getting any less versatile either; the speedster can still prove to be a matchup nightmare as a runner, receiver, or even a punt returner. The possibilities to put points on the board in the City of Brotherly Love are nearly endless.

:smh: WEAKNESSES :smh:

image.jpg

While the Eagles have made strides to improve on the defensive end this upcoming season (see: Kiko Alonso, Byron Maxwell, rookie Eric Rowe), the bottom line is that Jeremy won't have as fearsome a group up front as he had in Buffalo this past Madden. Also, can Sam Bradford be trusted to stay healthy for the duration of an entire season? If he can't, Jeremy will be, presumably, left with Mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley, or the aforementioned Tebow, as his options under center. And in a division with Romo, Manning, and Griffin III, poor quarterback production could have the Eagles spiraling - not flying - down south for the winter. South being the bottom of the NFC East.

:smokin TORETTO'S TAKE : 9-7 :smokin

image.jpg

In what has become a highly advantageous NFL for offenses, the Eagles may be able to push the limits of the advantages further than any team this year. They possess enough talent to make a playoff run, but with young players in heightened roles, they will have to prove that they are indeed ready to take the next step. @Da_Assassin09 has demonstrated the ability to win double digit games before, and while I think his division will prevent that from happening this season, it's very possible that he finds himself atop an NFC East that is sure to be an absolute dogfight. :nthat:

WAR ROOM: WASHINGTON ROJOSKINS

image.jpg

When thinking of a mercurial team, a Jekyll and Hyde type that could disappoint one season, then turn around and insert itself into the discussion of the elite the next, the Washington Rojoskins would undoubtedly be the first team that comes to mind.

There was the forgettable, such as Seasons 1, 3, and 4...

And then, there were Seasons 2 and 5, which brings back memories of yesteryear...and the unforgettable, such as a Week 13 date with the Cowboys in Season 2, with first place in the division on the line...

"SO IT'S COME DOWN TO THIS FOR WASHINGTON...THE NFCE LEAD HANGS IN THE BALANCE...

It was this game that ignited a run to the playoffs by which @MrSneakerman would be recognized as one of the most skilled players in the league. A member of the [emoji]128080[/emoji]Wolfpack[emoji]128080[/emoji] Alliance, along with fellow New York natives @tehbest13 and yvespo3 yvespo3 (although he and the latter aren't always on the same page), "Flash" will look to add to the trophy case of a once-proud franchise.

To do so, battles with [emoji]127760[/emoji]#System[emoji]127760[/emoji] member and NFC nemesis Retto Retto and Carolina (against whom both Washington playoff runs ended), and possibly even his Wolfpack brethren in Seattle, among others, for conference supremacy, seem like mere inevitabilities...

:pimp: STRENGTHS :pimp:

image.jpg

As it has been since 2012, Washington will go as far as Robert Griffin III takes them. Under Flash's tutelage, Griffin was able to turn the corner from exciting dual-threat quarterback, to a polished, poised, and patient (albeit, too patient at times) presence in the pocket, highlighted by his highly efficient 5th season in the Madden 15 League. With reports of the Skins designing ways to utilize his legs more than this past year's league, Griffin's next step in his career could make the primary receiving corps Desean Jackson, Pierre Garçon, and Jordan Reed that much more dangerous.

Trent Williams is the undisputed anchor on what hopes to be an improving offensive. Ryan Kerrigan is on track to be completely healthy on the defensive side of the ball, and second-round draft pick Preston Smith is expected to help ease the loss of new Tennessee Titan Brian Orakpo.

:smh: WEAKNESSES :smh:

image.jpg

Youth and inconsistency may prove to be primary reasons if the Skins are hampered by slow starts, which was a constant problem for Flash and the burgundy and gold. When speaking with members of the Washington coaching staff earlier this week, they all emphasized two things in particular: the need for speed in the backfield to complement the bruising style of starting RB Alfred Morris (could it be third-round draftee Matt Jones?), and the maturation process of a young secondary for a defense that ranked only 24th against the pass in 2014, giving up roughly 250 yards thru the air per contest.

Chris Culliver was signed in the offseason, and Dashon Goldson was acquired via trade with the Bucs to help solidify that back four. Young corners David Amerson and Bashaud Breeland will have to step up this year, because DeAngelo Hall won't be around to get four picks on Jay Cutler forever. The signing of Terrance Knighton could bode well for Jason Hatcher, who was placed on IR last season. Lack of pressure up front from the Skins' could lead to big days for Dez Bryant, Odell Beckham Jr, and Jordan Matthews (along with their respective QBs) in NFC East competition, and long days in the Nation's Capitol.

:smokin TORETTO'S TAKE: 10-6 :smokin

image.jpg

It's not how you start; it's how you finish. That seems to be the theme for Washington in Madden 16, as the Madden 15 League ended with the Skins as a top-five team. But they're so hot and cold to the point that it's as maddening (no pun) as it is surprising. I've been wrong just about every time I've made a prediction for Flash and the Skins (both good and bad)...but...with a showdown against the Dolphins to start the season, I think we'll see these guys locked in from the jump this year. It may be rough at times during the season, and the new-look NFC East will be rugged. But I think Washington will emerge from the chaos with the division crown, and take the first step to ending their postseason woes. :nthat:

AFC WEST is our next division!

:pimp: First up: DENVER BRONCOS :pimp:

WAR ROOM: DENVER BRONCOS

image.jpg

Did any team go through as much change and drama as the Denver Broncos in Madden 15?

That was rhetorical...I know the answer is no.

Initially, it was the notorious buckingbronco buckingbronco the league lightning rod last year, who assumed control of Peyton Manning and Copmany. Although Denver would just miss out on making the playoffs in Season 1, who could forget Vic's improbable last-second Week 17 win against Oakland which would knock the Raiders out of playoff contention?

Let's take a look at an excerpt from an October installment of 'The Gauntlet'...

...At 20-13, the #NewRaiders were looking like they were gonna escape, go back to Oakland, && hope for a Titans loss this week, which would vault them into the playoffs...

BUT! With their season on the line, Peyton rallied his troops once more, led a masterful drive filled with amazing catches, which was capped off with a Montee Ball TD plunge with just seconds left to tie the game!!!......right?

NOPE!!! Manning then looked up at the press box, saw the great John Elway holding up not one, but TWO fingers!!! Peyton smirked from afar, && huddled his boys up...in the ultimate 'Balls to the Wall' move, the Broncos were playing to win the game as EVERYONE suddenly found the edge of their seats, that is, if they were even sitting at all!!! Here's the call from the NTML Radio Network...

:wow: :wow:
"MANNING!.....lines up in the Gun!...

Takes the snap...has time...

Looking...:nerd: :nerd:

Someone's gotta get open!!...:nerd: :nerd: :nerd:

THROWS IT OVER THE MIDDLE TO JULIUS THOMAAAAAAAAAS...:wow:

Does he have it?!?!?!????...:nerd:

YESSSS!!! HE CAUGHT IT, HE CAUGHT IT!!! DENVER LEADS BY ONE WITH UNDER 30 SECONDS TO PLAY!!!!!!!!!! :nthat: :nthat:

WOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!"

:wow: :wow: :smokin :smokin :smokin

The Broncos went on to win by a final score of 21-20, eliminating the Raiders from playoff contention, && the jubilant screams of the Bronco Nation could be heard for hours on end!!!

Soon thereafter, Vic and then-49ers owner @JewelKnows would play a non-league game with the rights to the Niners going to the winner. Jewel would lose a very close game in overtime, and was never quite the same after inheriting the Mile High's own. His eventual departure from the league to a new challenger - one who was not one to mince words...

@JAYFIEND, who took over during Season 3 under his alias, "King MessiaH", was fully intent on taking the mantle of best Madden player, brought the brash nature back to Denver, winning games against some of the league's top names and making sure everyone would know it via classic post-game trash talk. However, the strategy would backfire, as he would be eliminated against @SteelCity412 en route to Pittsburgh's Season 4 championship.

The playoff loss was the last we've seen of the Broncos as a relevant team in the NT Madden world. With MessiaH now on the move to Buffalo, another new competitor has emerged to take on the challenge of delivering another World Championship to the Broncos...

We will soon meet @showstopper305; he makes his NT Madden League debut in September...

:pimp: STRENGTHS :pimp:

image.jpg

Despite no game film to review in this particular case, "V" inherits a superb pair of receivers in Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders. In the backfield, CJ Anderson will be relied upon once again to do the heavy lifting in the ground game, though Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman will likely see their share of carries as well.

Denver also boasts one of the most stout LB corps in the league, with "the other" Brandon Marshall, Danny Trevathan, All-Pro veteran Demarcus Ware, and, of course, All-Pro Von Miller. Aqib Talib, Chris Harris and TJ Ward are back in what should remain a very good secondary, and rookie OLB/DE Shane Ray was a tremendous value pick, and possible successor to Ware, in the 2015 Draft.

Oh, and then there's that Manning guy...

:smh: WEAKNESSES :smh:

image.jpg

But which Peyton Manning will we see? At 39 and fading late in 2014, it may be difficult for #18 to carry a football team as he typically has throughout his illustrious career. Does he have enough for another run at the Lombardi Trophy? Julius Thomas was signed by the Jaguars in the offseason, and Denver has brought in veteran TE Owen Daniels to pair with incumbent starter Virgil Green. It is unlikely that the duo will match Thomas' production, let alone exceed it.

And what about some of the youngsters? Beyond Sanders and Thomas, who will Peyton have to throw to? Are either of Cody Latimer or Jordan Norwood ready to step up and produce in the slot for Gary Kubiak's bunch? Will former first-rounder Bradley Roby become more consistent at nickelback?

:smokin TORETTO'S TAKE: 11-5 :smokin

image.jpg

Despite the questions about Manning's health and/or deterioration as a player, most teams would still say yes to having one of the all-time great quarterbacks under center - even at 39. Furthermore, the Broncos are in what may end up being one of the league's easiest divisions, and have a relatively easy 2015 schedule. Yes, he does face three World Champions from this past Madden, but Denver is a ready-made, win-now squad for Madden 16...and I think the showstopper will be able to do his fair share of it in Season 1. :nthat:

:pimp: NEXT: KANSAS CITY CHIEFS :pimp:

WAR ROOM: KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

image.jpg

Although their time amongst the elite in the Madden 15 League lasted for only two seasons, the Kansas City Chiefs made the best of their time in the spotlight, and they emerged from it...immortalized.

Humble as they come, @jQQQQQ and his men rode under the radar while cruising to an AFC West championship in Season 1. After eliminating @SlimK4 and the scrappy Tennessee Titans in the Wild Card Round, Kansas City would make their biggest statement of the season at Pittsburgh in the Divisional
Round. Just three weeks earlier, it was at Heinz Field where the Chiefs and @SteelCity412's Steelers dueled for the second seed in the inaugural playoffs of the NT League. Pittsburgh, won the first game, but the Chiefs dominated the rematch, with a rousing 44-14 victory on the road.

The Redemption Tour still had one more stop to make before they could compete in the Super Bowl: Miami, where dabottom305 dabottom305 and his Dolphins, who had defeated KC in a 7-0 throwback earlier in the season, had compiled the league's best record in Season 1. The two teams would meet in South Beach again for the AFC Championship, where Kansas City was down to its final down before Jamaal Charles took over! The Dolphins had no answer for the late-game barrage of runs that would eventually lead to the Chiefs scoring the winning points, advancing to the Super Bowl, and stifling inaugural NFC Champion Minnesota to win the first World Championship in the Madden 15 League!

The new Monsters of the Midway took on all comers in Season 2, before eventually being overtaken at home by @tyonenine's Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Title Game. By Season 4, the Chiefs were a ship with no rudder after JQ5's relinquishment of ownership. It would remain as such until now...

Because, in the Madden 16 League, @pmjordan23, whose roots originated in the AFC West as the Raiders (before finishing the '15 League as the Cowboys), will be returning to his original division - this time, calling Arrowhead Stadium home.

We've seen glimpses of what Phil can do; he had a breakout Season 4 in Dallas before losing to the Giants in the Divisional Round of that year's playoffs. While he hasn't since regained that form, every opportunity to do so awaits as the slate is wiped clean...but, will he?

:pimp: STRENGTHS :pimp:

image.jpg

If Phil is to have any success early on in the Madden 16 League, he may have to run his way to league prominence.

Not such a tough thing to do when you have, arguably, the league's premier running back. Jamaal Charles, the heart and soul, of the Kansas City offense, will indeed be the focal point once more, which, if successful, will allow Alex Smith to control and manage the game, as he's done so well in recent years. Travis Kelce broke out last season, establishing himself as a key cog in Andy Reid's attack, while DeAnthony Thomas and former Eagle wideout Jeremy Maclin give the Chiefs a pulse at the WR position.

Defensively, Justin Houston leads the Arrowhead Army after a 22 sack season in 2014. Other impact players such as Dontari Poe, Tamba Hali, and Derrick Johnson also return, giving KC an imposing front seven. Dee Ford also gives the Chiefs' linebacking corps, while first-round draftee Macus Peters could eventually start opposite the rangy Sean Smith at corner.

:smh: WEAKNESSES :smh:

image.jpg

Of course, no Kansas City discussion is complete without the name Eric Berry. The great safety's status for 2015 is uncertain, as he progressively recovers after successful treatment against a much more important nemesis than any division rival: Hodgkin's lymphoma disease. We hope to see Berry back on the field soon, but even more than that, to make a full recovery.

Berry's possible absence will leave @pmjordan23 in a quandary at the safety position, where Husain Abdullah and journeyman Ron Parker look to be the likely starters. Fomer Raider safety Tyvon Branch is now a Chief, but if he can't secure a starting spot in this secondary, that may speak the biggest volumes. And PLEASE tell me we're gonna see a Chiefs wideout catch a TD this year!! But if it isn't Maclin or the Black Mamba...then who will it be? If the Chiefs get down early, it may prove to be very tough sledding for Phil and his troops to get back into a game.

:smokin TORETTO'S TAKE: 5-11 :smokin

image.jpg

No knock on Phil here, but I just can't envision a possible scenario, based on his style of play mixed with the personnel he will inherit, where Kansas City can be a real threat early on in the league. Their best hope seems to be to play a ball-controlling brand of football and rely on the defense, but with Denver, San Diego and Oakland all capable of lighting the scoreboard up, I'm afraid that the Chiefs may not have the weaponry to keep up...at least this season. :nthat:

:pimp: NEXT: OAKLAND RAIDERS :pimp:

lol, I don't remember that.. but yea we had some good games. I remember the league I commished for NT, **** lasted for like two months and people would never get their games in  - if there's a spot open, def. holla at me.

The first season last year we last a lot of players around when 2K drops, that was expected cause thats what killed all the previous leagues imo. I think Retto doing the writeups, streams and the addition of making highlight tapes kept most people interested.

yeah the more content the more people care. streaming definitely has helped the madden community as a whole, people pay more attention not just for their own games but for other teams as well.

We have a second league that's available also. I'll let @MrSneakerman know. He runs that league and its a bunch of NT members also.

does retto write previews and broadcasting for that league as well?

If its a big game or right before the playoffs he does a big writeup. He used to do it every game but that it was too much lol.. He does his own highlights and posts.

Here is an example of one of the past playoffs lol

NOT EVEN THE SMELL OF THE SAVORY THANKSGIVING FOOD, NOR THE COMRADERIE OF FAMILY && FRIENDS ON SUCH A JOYOUS OCCASION CAN MAKE UP FOR THE STING OF SOME OF THESE LOSSES, AS WE WELCOME YOU ONCE MORE TO...

:pimp: THE GAUNTLET!!! :pimp:

Have you heard, competitor??? It's a pretty dramatic race to fill the 12 playoff spots, with no shortage of pressure as we wait to see exactly which teams will prove themselves that much more worthy to be called...

WORLD CHAMPION!!! :nthat: :nthat:

Let's take a look at what happened while you were away!!

B248jliIIAA049d.jpg

In the photo above, Jimmy Graham caught three things: the game winning TD, the collective body of the LOB, && the tears of the 12th Man with the help of his waterproof gloves!!! With eight receptions, 148 yards, && two scores, Graham propelled the New Orleans Saints to a heart-stopping 35-28 victory over the Seahawks in Seattle!!! Case Keenum has been a revelation for the Saints in the absence of Drew Brees, as New Orleans continues to find ways to win with him under the helm!!! Are we looking at this year's dark horse Super Bowl contender??? How costly did/will Seattle's loss prove to be??? :pimp: :pimp:

B22MLf_IEAAzhZY.jpg

In Chicago, the 6-3 Bears && 5-4 Skins looked to capitalize && gain some ground in the NFC playoff race in a game which featured division leaders going into the action!!!

It was Jay Cutler (300 yds, 4 TDs/0 INT) && Matt Forte (245 all purpose yds, 3 TDs) putting forth another pair of dominant performances on this day, as Chicago pulled away in the second half to earn a 42-21 victory at home!! RG3 threw for nearly 300 yds himself, but threw three costly INTs, including one which was highly disputed by the Skins' sideline, as they now drop to 5-5, && handed the NFCE lead to the idle Dallas Cowboys!!! The Bears pulled even with the Hawks for 2nd in the NFC at 7-3, as they lead the Packers by a game in the NFCN!!! :smokin :smokin

B27XausIAAEirNX.jpg

Week 11's biggest potential beneficiary may have been the Carolina Panthers!! They entered hostile territory in the primetime Spotlight for the third week in a row, as JJ Watt && the AFCS leading Texans welcomed Cam Newton && Friends for an interconference battle of division leaders, with plenty at stake!!

HIGHLIGHTS!!!

Carolina, behind an astounding 7 takeaways by Luke Kuechly && the defense, jumped out to a 27-3 lead && went on to defeat the Texans, 33-18, && moving into sole possession of the top seed in the NFC!!! Houston, meanwhile, fell to 5-5 in their division, && are no longer sole possession of first place!!! Will the hard hitting Texans find their hammer in time to recover && fend off the lurking Jags && Colts??? :wow: :wow: :wow:

Speaking of the AFC...

B22MP-AIQAE7BsE.jpg

While we still await the Titans' first win, the Bills wasted no time in trying to get back into the AFC playoff race!! Seemingly with a newfound confidence after a road upset of Washington, Buffalo stampeded into Nashville && shellacked the Titans, 41-14!!! Rookie QB Charlie Bray had an efficient day, completing 70% of his passes for 155 yards && a pair of scores, && the Bills intercepted new Titans starter Josh McCown three times && collected 7 sacks as they cruised to victory!!! We will almost assuredly see a totally different Titans team assembled in what will be a long offseason...Buffalo improved to 4-6 && hopes to make a late run at the postseason on the heels of this performance...:nerd: :nerd: :nerd:

B22MSRAIEAAHqwp.jpg

Remember the Pittsburgh Steelers??? Well they personally reacquainted themselves with us all, as they got back in the winning side of the column, drubbing the Browns 29-7!! Cleveland, fresh off their in-house controversies in terms of ownership, held a 7-6 halftime lead, but were outscored 23-0 in the latter half, as Johnny Manziel was picked off four times, one of which by Gauntlet favorite Ryan "Buckeye" Shazier!!! :nthat: :nthat:

HIGHLIGHTS!!!

Jacobie Fisher handled the adversity well this week, throwing for 253 yards && a couple scores, as Pittsburgh hoped for a Baltimore loss against the Cards, which would create a tie for first in the AFCN...

And that's exactly what happened!! In a game which featured Alaska temperatures masquerading as QB ratings (Palmer 19.7, Kaepernick 9.3), 7 interceptions thrown, && sub 3 yard averages for Andre Ellington && Shamell Patton, the Cards scored 13 points in the 4th to beat the Ravens in a Thursday nighter that had all of America searching for their remotes to turn to the NBA on TNT!!! But a win's a win...:x :x :x

And it appears last week was possibly just a blip on the radar for the Dolphins as they headed to Jacksonville for an in-state contest with the Jaguars with fire in their eyes after suffering just their second loss of the season last week!!!

HIGHLIGHTS BELOW!!!

The AFC leading Phins unraveled at the seams in what turned into a nasty 49-22 loss at MetLife, but rebounded in grand fashion, racking up nearly 500 yards in a 38-7 rout of the up && down Jags!!! Denard Robinson rushed for over 100 yards in the loss for the Jaguars, but so did Knowshon Moreno, who went for 178 && a pair of scores!!! Ryan Tannehill also threw for three scores, as Miami improved to 8-2 on the season!!! :pimp: :pimp:

OTHER GAMES!!!

The Rams got their Mixtape back on track, but it wasn't without a fight from those pesky Detroit Lions!! Tre Mason had a career day, scampering for a career high 244 yards on 31 carries && 2 TDs!!! They overcame 348 yards && 3 scores from Peyton Manning, intercepting him twice to preserve the victory!!

B22MIgYIYAIePwq.jpg

The Niners clobbered the Falcons, 31-10, holding Atlanta to under 200 yards of offense && picking Matt Ryan four times in the victory!! Carlos Hyde bruised his way to the tune of 137 yards, with a couple scores!! Both teams sit at 3-7 && look to play spoiler in the coming weeks!!

Don't look now, but the defending NFC Champs are making their push!!! Under new management, the Vikings walloped the Green Bay Packers in another lackluster performance by the Cheeseheads, 35-10!!! Minnesota is in full win-out mode, && looks to be up for the challenge, while Green Bay's 6-game winning streak seems like a year ago agreed hemmoraging 84 points in their last two games, both divisional losses!!!

The Raiders survived in the Mile High City!! They overcame 5 turnovers && limited action from Derek Carr, as Matt McGloim threw for 246 yards in relief in a 30-24 OT win!!! WR Hosey Pierce had a spectacular afternoon, catching 7 passes for 176 yards as they hold on to the top WC spot in the AFC at 7-3!!!

Also at 7-3...the New York Jets!! They went into The Linc && hammered the Eagles, 31-14 to also improve to 7-3!! Chris Ivory ran for 144 yards to go with 2 TDs, && Gang Green clamped down on the Eagles offense, forcing 3 INTs && holding LeSean McCoy to just 24 yards on 11 carries!! The Jets are the second WC in the AFC, while the Eagles start to look ahead to a cold winter...

B248ef9CEAAloE8.jpg

What about the World Champions???? The Chiefs, as usual, got a tough challenge from the gutsy Chargers, who fight til the very end every week!!! But it wasn't meant to be once again, as KC overcame a couple of Alex Smith giveaways, && rode Jamaal Charles && that superb defense to a grind-it-out, 21-14 victory to improve to a co-league best 8-2!!!

The Cowboys are now in first place in the NFCE!!! Coupled with losses by the Skins && Giants, Dallas defeated the plummeting Bucs 27-14!! Dez Bryant was a man possessed, going for 10/173/2 in another masterful display!! Tony Romo also picked up where he left off early in the season, slinging the rock for 333 yards for the now 6-4 Cowboys!!!

The Colts have tied for first in the AFCS behind a 41-22 victory over the Bengals!! Andrew Luck had a sterling afternoon, passing for 240 yards && a trio of TDs, && Trent Richardson exploded for 201 yards on the ground to boost the surging Colts to a 5-5 record, as they look to obtain their first playoff berth since 2010!!! They're in prime position, but can they keep winning???

Finally, the Patriots are lurking in the AFC!! The Brady Bunch traveled to face the longtime Bill Belichick regime nemesis Giants at MetLife, where Vintize Crisp contributed 156 yards plus a TD in a 28-14 win!! New England is now 6-4, && sits one game back of OAK && NYJ in the wild card chase, while the Giants fall to 5-5, like Washington, after Gronk was unable to stick it to his former team!!
