WAR ROOM: ARIZONA CARDINALS
While the Arizona Cardinals didn't quite meet their potential in the Madden 15 League - a loss to Green Bay in the Wild Card Round of Season 3's playoffs was their lone postseason game last Madden - @townbidness showed glimpses of potential in games against some of the league's upper tier of players. But, now with him controlling the Green Bay Packers, Arizona welcomes the return of the original NT League antagonist...
"The___Michael" entered last year's league in Season 2 as the New York Jets, and engaged in a division rivalry with
dabottom305
's Dolphins that elevated the league to new heights, as the two games between the competitors that season (both won by Mike's Jets) both remain on the list of most anticipated league games in history, setting numerous PPV records.
Now, can Mike make the same type of immediate impact in a new division? The talk has already begun - now it's time to back it up.
STRENGTHS
Mike's Cardinals offer a variety of capable options on offense, where future Hall of Fame wideout Larry Fitzgerald returns for his 12th season in the desert. Young receivers Michael Floyd and John Brown complement the veteran well, and reports are that Mike has struck a deal with
jayfiend
for quarterback EJ Manuel. Regardless of who Arizona trots onto the field as their signal-caller, they will be able to hand the ball off to shifty tailback Andre Ellington, who could be a mismatch for opposing linebackers as a receiving threat as well.
The Cards' defense will be formidable once again up front, thanks in large part to the mammoth eighth-year veteran, DE Calais Campbell. Former Falcons LB Sean Weatherspoon wil now team with third-year pro Kevin Minter to man the middle linebacker spots for Arizona. Second-round pick Markus Golden could emerge beside them at one of the OLB spots much sooner than later. Those who dare test the Cardinal secondary are fighting an uphill battle, with LSU alums, FS Tyrann Mathieu and All-Pro CB Patrick Peterson bound to make game-changing plays for the birds, who could soar like never before as a result.
WEAKNESSES
While the Cards have a nice group of receivers, will Mike be able to make them work in his vertically-based passing attack? At times last season, we saw the ugly results that could occur when opponents were able to shut down the deep ball. A better balance involving Ellington may be necessary, but can the Cards' lead back stay healthy? A massive dropoff in effectiveness may occur if not.
Also, Mike has shown a tendency to play up to his competition, as well as the opposite - taking others lightly, such as Hulk and the Colts in the Season 2 Wild Card Round, where his loss ranks as one of the biggest NT Madden League upsets of all-time. With the propensity for an entertaining, brash series of outbursts, Mike will have to make sure that his bark isn't better than his bite, as it was at different points last Madden.
TORETTO'S TAKE: 9-7
Without a doubt, Mike will bring the ratings in abundance in Season 1 this year - particularly in the two games against division rival @BuckingBronco and the 49ers, in what will both surely be comedic affairs. The Cards' schedule offers the chance for double-digit wins; however, in a new division and conference, the adjustment may take some time for Mike and the Cards, as Seattle will still enter this Madden as the team to beat out west. Either way, it's time to get that classic G-Unit ready, Mike! You'll have to be at your best in the NFC if you plan on surviving...welcome back.

lol the connection is good now. At the time I was living in college dorms. I'm in NYC for the summer so the connection is good. It should be better come this fall because I'm moving to a better dorm w better internet connection. I'm currently in an MLB the show league and I haven't had any issues playing my games.
