tbh it's pretty much an acura at that point

if you're buying a top of the line civic might as well just look at the ILX.

I got a civic at the beginning of the year. We were shopping for a 2016 but this silver dirty civic caught my eye.

It was a 2015 civic fully loaded with Navigation, Heated seats, Sunroof, side view camera and my favorite Nice RMS.

We ended up taking the 2015 over the 2016 because the price was amazing and the car was in perfect brand new condition. It only had 10 miles on it.

To be totally honest, I do not like the rear look of the 2016.

The Civic Hatchback will be offered in five trim levels: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, and Sport Touring. Only one engine will be offered – a 1.5-liter turbo four – but in two states of tune and with two transmission options.

The LX, EX, and EX-L models boast 174 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. The Sport and Sport Touring models pack the same twist, but a high-flow exhaust helps them produce a little more power at 180 hp. Buyers will also be able to choose between a continuously variable or six-speed manual transmission (depending on the trim).

What's more is that the hatchback pictured here in production guise for the first time will also serve as the basis for the next Civic Type R, which promises to be something to shout about.

In the meantime, the Civic hatchbacks are making their way and are scheduled to reach dealers next month already in September.

in love with the civic hatchback

But they are only making it in a 1.5L turbo 4? Like no non-turbo for the people that love the civic but like the utility of a hatch back? I want the gas mileage more then a turbo, but just like the hatchback design better then the stock sedan

My first car was an ek dropped ignorantly low, the civic will always place in my heart. That type R is looking super tough, any specs on it?

Power from the current 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged VTEC engine is expected to rise over the current 306 hp and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. It's possible that a horsepower figure near the Ford Focus RS's 350 hp is on the cards. Unlike the Ford, the new U.S.-bound Civic Type R remains front-wheel drive and will come standard with a six-speed manual transmission.

This Civic Type R Prototype is supposedly what is coming to the US

Da heck is up the the three tail pipes. In any case I like it, wonder what pricing and availability will be like. Might have to get rid of the accord :nerd:
