Official Fallout 4 Thread - Release - 11.10.15

I've never played any of the previous entries; how difficult will it be to get into this game? I love RPGs BTW.

Not at all. It's real easy to jump into any of the modern Fallout games. It's open world and you can pretty much play it how you want. Same with Elder Scrolls

Cant wait...Ordered the Pip-Boy Version the day it was announced. Hope BestBuy comes through and delivers in the morning.Already kinda mad that I cant pick it up at 9pm Monday night like i did with Arkham Knight. Would suck having to wait all day for delivery.

Fallout and Elder Scrolls are the GOATS to me, need to pick up a new system though since I am still rocking the 360. Hoping for a solid bundle deal with Fallout 4 on black friday then this game will take up all my free time

I think I might have rented Fallout 3 and played it for a bit.. but I don't remember much. I've never played this kind of game to be honest, but I feel like I'm really missing out and seeing the excitement and reaction to the latest trailer on reddit.. I'm pretty curious to play it myself.

I don't know if I'm a fan of RPGs, I just never played them.

Just picked up my copy went straight to work. My Local mom and pops already has it for sale...... I won't be able to play till tomorrow morning gotta work a double today :/.

^^^^ Nice! Not sure if it's been mentioned but the Xbox-One version comes with Fallout 3 also.

Super jelly. Nowhere down here in South FLa doing that. Please report back when you come up for air.

Can't wait. I got the hookup, not early, but for 30 bucks.

I will be putting in 10 hour sessions lmao

ps4. personal connect.

i had some credit on a gamestop card to go to fallout, but now i can use it on a new controller

yall know about any controller deals soon?

What perks do you guys suggest leveling up the most?

really depends on how you play.

Anyone new to fallout, i would suggest you play by yourself before reading any tips or tricks....its not that type of game.

i saw my dude play new vegas after talking about it with him for like a month

he plays literally COMPLETELY different from me...

it's all about how you want to play (and the game adapts and becomes THAT game)

Yeah really no right or wrong way. I'm probably going to concentrate on strength and endurance.

i always try to max out intelligence, luck and agility first.

the higher your intelligence, the more skill points you get per level.

luck is good because it can compensate for strength and endurance being low.

agility, for action points. I play hidden sniper type.

Forgot about luck for some reason. :smokin

Need to rethink things now.

in new vegas, i had a strategy to get

10 luck
10 intelligence
10 agility

and

99 gun

once you made it to new vegas the first time (level 8-10)

slim figure perk gave you +1 agility
you start off as an 8 in agility and a 9 in luck and intelligence, then buy the implant.

you lose about 8 skill points overall, but allows you to put another point into a different special. (if you do 10, then the implant is useless)

You can max out one or two skills AND have 10 in luck, agility and intelligence.

i never stack strength, in fact, i prefer a lower carry weight to increase realism and difficulty, only downside is that certain guns misfire because you aren't strong enough to fire them.
