What are your top 3 perks ?  

hard to say.

DR + under the first star of endurance is tough.

I maxed out rifleman, because i do a lot of sniping.

Grim Reaper's spirit has been a favorite perk across all the fallouts (i use VATS and AP a lot)

although i never used it, i'm curious as to how the moving target perk works out. I usually have to cut and run if i'm overwhelmed, and i've done a decent job of not getting shot. I suppose a melee type fighter would benefit most from it, along with the blitz perk, you wouldn't take much damage running up to enemies.

Fast reload has been a wasted perk in previous fallouts. the maxed perk is that reloading doesnt cost AP in VATS, when, I havent noticed reloads anyway (i typically just back out of VATS if the person needs to reload)

i maxed out the scrounger perk, thinking it would help with materials to mod guns, but once you mod your main cache of weapons, its PRETTY useless. I'd rather save the perk and search for the materials, in retrospect. (adhesive still ends up being the material you're missing)

The sniper perk under perception increases your VATS hit chances, so it's pretty dope, especially for my play style. I avoided the other gun damage + because they're so particular (non auto guns or auto guns) whereas the rifleman is for ALL non-auto rifles.

again, they took skill points away, which would allow for much deeper customization and build-types. Now, the SPECIAL categories serve as groups of 3 skills. Those familiar with skill points know what i mean by that. In the past, you could raise the level of a particular skill, rather than all three skills the SPECIAL relates to. For example, I had no interest in perception outside of lock picking, so i neglected the special and sank skill points into lockpicking. Same with charisma, I was only interested in speech (not barter, etc.) so i would only raise my speech level. Now, you don't have the ability to raise a particular skill, you have to add a perk into the special category.


Initial perks also gave a sense of a new play style from the beginning, giving you motivation to start over and try a different strategy. Now? I'm unsure to how much different the experience would be on a second, third or even fourth play through.

while its scratching my fallout itch, i can't lie and say i'm not still craving new vegas' realism and strategy.

(there aren't even specific health bars for limbs, nor do you have to heal specific damaged limbs)
 
I miss healing limbs.

I remember picking up fallout new vegas used from a gamestop with the intention of returning it in a week. Not knowing anything thing about about it and having the whole week off I actually powered through the main store WITHIN THE WEEK. That game made me sick to my stomach in the end. I'll probably pick this one up but I'll play through it over the course of like a year :lol:
 
How do you raise your speech?

Like when ur talking to someone and you can persuade them to do stuff
 
Speaking of the laser mini gun,joint uses fusion cells as ammo,figured that out after wasting 2 or 3 :lol:
 
Already over 40,000 mods available and it's only week two. I'm trying to find one that imports the radio from FO3 and New Vegas.
 
ran into a supermutant camp that had some kind of protection robot that shot lasers out of its chest on some iron man ****.
