Official Fallout 4 Thread - Release - 11.10.15

Already over 40,000 mods available and it's only week two. I'm trying to find one that imports the radio from FO3 and New Vegas.

This is false. The G.E.C.K. isnt even released yet. More like a 50 mods or so even worth mentioning. Others are just uploaded characters and crap

Even if it were true, exactly as you said... Until FO4's creation kit drops maybe 10 of the 40000 are even worth wasting the bandwidth to look at.

Beat the game.
Decided to side with the Minute Men and I blew up the institute. Then I went in the Pryden and killed all the Brotherhood of steel lol.
Found all the bobbleheads too.

Concerning the ending.
I feel like an interesting debate can be had on this. I decided to side with the institution. Synths aren't people, any 'emotions' they feel are a combination of hard coded algorithms running in sync. Now offing dudes and replacing them with synthetics? Little bit overboard... But the institute, clearly, is the best option they have in the modern day for returning humanity back to prosperity.

Minute Men just seemed hell bent on the fact that they consider things with emotions, even if they're artificial, to be people.

Everyone knows the BoS is full of technology-hording psychos. Wouldn't seriously side with them ever. Was an incredibly easy choice for me picking The Institute.

When you beat the game siding with the Minute Men, the synth version of little Shaun begs to come with you and he calls you "dad."

If you decide to take him with you, later he'll give a holotape from the real Shaun (who's dead by now). The holotape tells you that he re-programmed the synth Shaun to believe that you're his father. He then asks you to give the synth a chance and to take care of him. This implies that even the Institute (or at least Shaun/Father felt emotions towards the synth as well.)

Also, I think you're confusing the minute men with the Rail Road.

I ran into a raider with a Fatman and Power Armor :smh:

Blew me up about 4 or 5 times till I got close enough to drop him with a critical hit head shot.

I understand bottle caps are currency but what the hell am I suppose to buy? Can I get some good weapons and armor? If so, where?

dudes really just spoiling the game in here.
mean.gif

you see the institute do what i said within the first 15 minutes of playing.

everything else is in spoilers.
you dont know who it is when it happens bruh.

Is level 34 high enough to hit up the museum of witchcraft?

If you aren't a chump  . What's in there is below in the spoiler
it's a deathclaw in a small room. There's a door u can use to beat him

I'm finding it hard to stay interested in this game now, gets crazy repetitive eventually :frown:
\\

the minor things i've mentioned in this thread are becoming bigger and bigger annoyances.

the mod system will freshen up the game, but we have to wait a year LOL

This thread reeked of dudes humble bragging how fast they get through the game from the jump....is like they want some cookies or something...

"I'm level 105, look how cool I am" when I saw dudes reaching these levels, just a week after release all I saw was legit a dude caved up in his room playing non-stop, because this isn't a game where you level up fast without putting in time....I'm just reaching 24 and sometimes I put in 4 hours straight or more...lol
