^ I'm honestly beginning to think that Average, skinny, white girl with blonde hair is the archetype of the super model...because the whole point is to sell products to average, white women.
They want them to see something they can aspire to.
They could pick hot, brazilian models with insane bodies all day, but they would just threaten their potential customer base by showing something exotic and gorgeous in a way they never could be.
