Kidd can actually spit and goes off on several tracks. That new joint wit Wayne is dope.( beat remind me of RiffRaff- Syrup in my soda)

He just dont got the it factor.

glizzy is probably the only one that can have a long career

fetty a one trick pony so far
Real Talk. Glizzy will be in the Yo Gotti Lane....Making a hit club record or 2 every year..being independent, releasing mixtapes series, occasional album and touring and being on some big features.

Other than K-Camp/Fetty Wap, Glizzy is the best hit maker out of the bunch and has the most staying power. Dude is following the Yo Gotti blue-print. Not bad at all.
Nah Gotti really kinda fell into his lane bro. He eating good now but he had a lot of missteps along the way he just got good business sense now and know how to operate and adapt to the changes in style/sound after being in the game 15+ years.

He was bubbling underground in the early-mid 2000s had a Gangsta Grillz that ****** was riding to, had that Life album,  Back 2 Da Basics album etc. but he signed a ****** up multi album deal with TVT for 40k and had only dropped 2 albums 5 years later when they went bankrupt so he had to pay 500k to get out of the deal. He had a little money by then tho because Cash Money had signed Starlito and Da Block Burnaz and he had albums he was touring from. Around 08-09 he end up with J Records/RCA/Polo Grounds/Sony for around 1.8 mil. To be honest had he not bought himself out of that J Records/RCA/Polo deal in 2012 there's a good chance he would still be on the shelf after he didn't draw with Live from the Kitchen, _ did 16k first week

. Even then he had to wait 3 years before it even dropped because he couldn't get any mainstream traction. He could've stayed independent but this _ was talking about he wanna "be on TV and win awards" and ****

The Gotti blueprint of getting yourself into bad deals you have to later buy yourself out of is not the way to go, although luckily that **** worked out for him because he was working hard as **** with music/shows and been in the game a min. After going fully indie again for a lil bit he finally got what seems to be a nice partnership with Epic, full distribution for CMG, etc

IMO Glizzy best bet is going the Boosie route making more introspective music, developing his own sound and a cult fanbase along with constantly staying on the road. Boosie and them signed with a major in 06, they did 1 video for the Bad *** album and and I think he  still  sold around 400k total. Boosie kinda got ****** over at his label too tho because they waited 3 years to drop the Superbad Album, he wanted to drop multiple times a year like Plies because he said wanted to up his show price like Jeezy

I think Glizzy only has a press and distribution deal with 300 ent and that's how he needs to continue to move for a artist like himself, **** signing to a major and tryna be famous and all that you just gotta be really  willing to invest in yourself and work hard

As far as being a hit maker that's not what keeps you around because when those hits dry up they move on to the next hit maker. It's all about having a solid loyal core fanbase who gonna **** with you regardless _'s like J Cole and ASAP don't need hit singles to do well

I find it hard to believe the era of music is going back and forth over super sub-par rappers. Tink is really the only
person in this photo worth anything.

Fetty Wap is from Jersey? Has he lived in ATL for a bit? Cause he sounds like the average ATL dude coming out now birthed by Future

Yall really don't mess with Kidd Kidd? Lol. I haven't heard much by him besides that track he did with August Alsina, but I thought his verse was dope.

And to dude above, Fetty isn't from ATL. I can respect him doing his thing outta Jersey

I posted on here in the August Alsina thread last year that Kidd Kidd dropped one of the worst verses I've ever heard on that song. Verse was painful to listen to.

Fetty is a bozo. Fake dreads, from Jersey, trying to sound like Future and Young Thug (not a fan of those two clowns either) Fetty time will be up come September.

The more Fetty reveals about himself the worse it gets. He's why guys just need to do music.

The fake locs and being a fake Haitian...seriously. You can tell dude is young. It was rough being Haitian in the 80's. Dudes didn't even want to really claim it until the Fugees. You had to earn that, because you got picked on and jumped. You can tell these dudes don't have A&R teams to develop and groom them anymore.

And what's with OG Maco? He earned that in the streets. Dude was an OG at 20  I smell another Makkonen

Hip hop in 2015 is pure comedy to me

Real talk.

He's doing this whole trolling ****. His music is catchy enough without it. I share this same sentiment. I heard him say he was 22 or 23 the other day...Dude was born in 1990..hes 25 lol.

That's my point he's using ATL's style. It's funny to me hearing somebody from Jersey say "trappin out the bando". Dude is another fake Future/Quavo.

Fetty brave as hell...running around with fake locs and one eye.

Kidd Kidd been around since I was in like high school. I'm 26 now so somebody needs to stop lying to us.

Yall telling me I was listening to a 9 year old Kidd Kidd during the Squad up era? I'm not buying it.

Dude birth records are like a 7 foot African Center getting ready for the NBA draft.
