Victor Cruz Signature Shoe

Again, why do we have 10 PG's in the NBA with a sneaker. We have how many football players in the NFL with a sneaker? You have 400 NBA players. They're 1,500+ NFL players and it's the most popular sport in the country. The NBA meanwhile is global.

Stop with the silly discussion.

You think Nike doesn't have 20 football players with their own sneaker, because they don't want to make money?

Your discussion was football players can't sell sneakers.

They can.

The end.

In the past they could. After vick I can't think of another football sig for nike doing well. LaDanian had a training shoe that I think only released in kids sizes. Revis' sneakers were nice and his line got cancelled after only one shoe. Calvin Johnson had 2 sigs so far, I dunno if his line is still continuing or it got cancelled too. cruz's shoes might do well because of the colorways and the hybrid design.

If you think about it basketball is the only major sport where cleats aren't worn. Of course bball would be the dominant platform for selling athletic foorwear with Sig shoes.

still dont understand how cruz got a shoe. he had 2 good seasons. and hes prob done

the main issue is that the posters in this thread arguing what sells and doesn't sells are hype beast stans. they assume sells are first day sell outs, ATC and bot fodder, and sneakers drake and young thug wear.

Kid, I've been buying sneakers before you were born. Before the hypebeast term existed. That's why I know the history of sneakers and you can point to very few football players having signatures over the past 30 years.

You're arguing about something when everything points to it otherwise. It's common knowledge that football players don't sell kicks.

Why doesn't Peyton Manning have a sig, when he is in a million commercials?

Try to use some common sense and stop trolling.

Probably because he plays for NY and is known to like sneakers and clothes. I don't like him but props to him for getting a deal when nike is stingy with football sigs.

Me too wore them once or 2x found them a few years ago in my closet. Had the the red and whites don't know what I was thinking when I bought them

I hope these are a big flop like the revis' were so I can pick up every cw for under $70. I have a feeling the QS and PRM labels won't let that happen though. I remember when the beasts came out when they saw the denim Revis' were individual numbered. Had people waiting for days to cop to resell. SMH

Dang, if true. I think I'll have to forgo one of my XIV low multiples to grab a pair.

Like I said in the East Coast hubs these are gonna do well....Boutiques across the country will do okay especially with the "Yeezy" tab attached.....

But after the first colorway drops....expect these to sit then be discounted...

If you want the Red's I wouldnt wait TOO long....I dont think they disappear day one, but week one maybe.... week two pairs will be harder to come by...

I guess if I had to compare it to something Think most Nike NSW or Lab releases....Frags are still out there but drying up pretty fast....

You might catch a $20 off here or there but that is about it.....

They were doomed the minute they put out 6 colors....

Much like these...If there was ONLY the reds....GAME OVER....But since there is at least 4 more to come....Dudes will wait it out....

But not too long.

From TheSneakerGame

TSG can now confirm the Nike Air Cruz “Red October,” which was originally scheduled for an October 7th drop, has been officially pulled from being released at retail otherwise known as cancelled. No word on whether we’ll see this colorway released down the line. Nike just internally alerted retailers who would have been stocking this debut colorway of Victor Cruz’s shoe. Do not misconstrue this with the entire silhouette being scrapped as the Nike Air Trainer V. Cruz will still be releasing.

Boooo... i doubt the black cement pair drops either. Guess im just rocking with the grey pair for now
