happened to me as well, I've had to do the security code thing before as well but today the app was just extra buggy... I think Wednesday should be an easy cop through any retailer, I was on the fence about these I hear the quality is amazing for the $150 price point and could use my discounts to get for $120 so it would be worth it I should of tried right at 8:00 am but like I said was on the fence... Regretting it now.

I can see them dropping it. But it sold well and the price is justifiable IMO. These will go down as one of my favs of all time. Who knows what Nike decides to do. You know they troll hard!

If they canceled Darrelle Revis and LaDainian Tomlinson's shoe, I think they would do so with Victor especially since they're driven on performance athletes.

You really can't compare Revis and LT's shoes to Cruz trainer, those shoes were not lifestyle shoes. I don't know for a fact, but I'm pretty sure Cruz has outsold those other two shoes combined. Revis was a DB who got traded to to my bucs and he blew his knee out... They were smart not to make this another "performance" sneaker.. If it was I probably wouldn't buy it

Well Cruz has been hurt the past two seasons with no guarantee he's going to be even a fraction of what he used to be. Don't get me wrong though, I love his trainer and have all four colors. I'm just a bit skeptical they'll continue the line. I would love for them to release the white Giants color way along with the Safaris. Those were my favorite two of the bunch and weren't even released. [emoji]128543[/emoji]
 
I saw these in the store. I didn't like the suede on them in comparison to the haystacks. The blues were underwhelming for me in person. Was a little disappointed tbh.
 
I can't see them moving forward either. The Cruz wasn't a GR so it sells well online, but they can be found in stores. The Revis had a lot of colorways but a lot of them hit outlets. I can't speak on the LT line I never followed it. I just figured if Nike wanted to make another lifestyle trainer with premium materials they would use a different athlete and raise the price to about $200.
 
Yea Cruz hasn't been performing. But this is a life style shoe.

Cruz is on the pulse of sneaker culture and fashion in general.

Yes he hasn't performed on the field, but he's still quite popular because he is a wide out. LT and Revis weren't known for style or sneakers in general.

In fact compared to Cruz while they were both HOH players. They are boring and not popular with the youth and harder to market on the fashion front.

That and what other football player that is popular into kicks and as well market at Cruz. That they can replace him with.

It's more Nike using him as "influence" on the culture Revis and LT weren't they were just spokes persons.

Cruz markets him self better and plays in NY a big market.

They can just release the Cruz 2 when he comes back next year raise the price 20-25 bucks and make a few thousand pairs less.

Typical Nike move TBH.........
 
True. Cruz does have more hold onto fashion and sneaker culture. It is a lifestyle shoe which is perfect for him. He doesn't need to perform, just dress well and be in the fashion world. Nike can see that plus side for him. It would be cool if he got another shoe but we're not sure if that other shoe is going to be as nice as these first ones. One of the best lifestyle shoes as of late. I would just want a few more colors of these. Maybe just the red or safari and that would be great. Hope they don't get ruined by over saturation.

Odell Beckham Jr.
 
I have a feeling if they give Beckham Jr. A shoe that it won't be as nice as these or have the same appeal. I think it would be a corny hype beast shoe if not just a weird looking shoe unlike Cruz with his subtle personality in fashion and shoes. Beckham would be more loud, vibrant or out there. You know? Idk but that's just my hunch for him if it goes that way. I get a Westbrook type vibe about him if he gets a shoe, it'll be like that. Victor Cruz persona is more high end fashion orientated in premium looks and feel. Beckham might dress in expensive luxury clothes but his vibe is completely different and I just think it would be a different appeal than Cruz. Cruz is smarter and more fashionable classically. Which is more simplistic. So we get a good looking shoe without Beckham trying to be "out there" in s wardrobe and looks. Might appeal to a younger hype crowd. It'll just be different and might be corny like how OBJ seems. I don't know anything though, just my assumptions. I rather Cruz have a shoe than Beckham just because he's more fashionable and have better influences in clothing taste.

I don't see any real red ones on eBay.. They're all fake. The real ones are selling for 400 at least if you could even find them.. If you see any authentic red pairs please send me in the direction of them. Been looking for them. Around a size 10.
Wish I jumped on them earlier in October and got a pair of the Reds then..

This is the last Cruz to be released as far as we know. No more scheduled to release.

He needs more time...... Nike isn't quick to even want to put football players in a shoe.
 
It makes the most sense that Cruz has his own lifestyle shoe as a football player because he is an athlete in the fashion world. Wouldn't make well for anyone else. Other players would get a performance shoe that might not look as good/fashionable. No one in football should get a shoe right now besides Cam or gronkoski in terms of marketability and performance at the moment. Antonio brown and OBJ in time but I can't see anyone else having a better looking shoe than Cruz.
 
Nike need to nix this line get something going for Odell Beckhams signature and expect them to go do something for Todd Gurley since he's in La now and will be everywhere now...since they loss megatron Nike football and baseball needs more effort from Nike cause their hoop designs currently not so good all around...

I strongly disagree for nixing this line.  I'm sure a few members, including myself, would love to keep buying colorways for this model.
