Victor Cruz Signature Shoe

I know how you feel about paying retail/jumping on release for the Air Cruz. The Greys today, DS are $50 under retail. Im not mad as I love the look of the shoe but the comfort and cushioning was not worth the retail for the Greys but the Memories are worth retail (we all know Nikes retail is OP). And im surprised these didn't become popular but maybe a lot due to Cruz injury season. Maybe these will be more hyped next year..if he impactfully returns and hope they continue the line. So I might keep my Greys DS and just wear the Memories. Although I have wore them around my carpeted house.

And go true to size no need to go up IMO. But it would really help if you told us a common shoe you like/wear that we can compare to.

Appreciate it. What about comfort?

They feel the same as the Air Trainer 3 (SC) which is a late 80's shoe so the cushioning is nothing spectacular and pretty dull for today's cushioning and even for early 90's cushion tech like adidas EQT 93, was more lighter, quicker, free and "squsihy" where the Cruz/Air Trainer feels more flat footed and stable . But then again these are lifestyle shoes not athletic/performance so don't expect responsiveness and/or quicker movement, just plain Air in the heel..Some websites advertised it as having forefoot Air too, can anyone confirm this? But in today's age where people wear performance shoes casually you would expect more out of a $140+ casual shoe.. Support is a hard one because I lace most of my casual shoes fairly loose but I dont get any heel slippage at at all and my foot is locked in especially in the heel, ankle But the Memories feel more comfortable than the Greys maybe because the Greys have a leather lining vs Memories' fabric. Keep in mind both shoes I have only worn/walked inside the house mostly on carpet in thin socks.

yeah the way they were cancelling colorways left and right, you could tell this line wouldn't have much life.
