Victor Cruz Signature Shoe

I would place my vote for the adidas ultra boost

but yes I'm very excited for the air cruz.

The Adidas ultra boost are BASIC same caliber as New Balances compared to these. And if you really wanted to mention that shoe the Nike Free Flyknit 4.0 >>>>>> Adidas Ultra Boost.
I would say these might be able to go up against the Nike Air Yeezy 2's. I'd have to see them in person to make the final decision on that though.

The Adidas Ultra Boost??? That shoe is very basic imo also. They look like another Nike knock off to me as a lot of other Adidas have been looking lately. The Adidas Tublar shoe look pretty good but I feel like their still really just feeding off the hype of the Yeezy Boost though.

I wouldn't say a shoe is 100% percent original if the man himself who helped with the design process (Victor Cruz) didn't say the shoe is 100% percent original, but was inspired by the Air Trainer 1, Bo Jackson and Deon Sanders "Prime Time" which is why the shoe has "Dance to Greatness" under the strap signifying Deon's dance when he was about to score a touch down.

(Scroll to 25 minutes in the show to hear him speak about the shoe)
I also see the Yeezy 2 inspiration which is obviously the shoe he cant/doesn't mention on his show too though.

 I think @instagram
's post was sarcastic in nature. If you think the Adidas Ultra Boost looks like a knockoff, you can say the same about the Air Cruz. Then you went and proved his point in your previous post.
Maybe or maybe not. I was basically just restating what Victor Cruz himself said about his own sneaker and what it represents. Also when I was referencing the Adidas Ultra boost looking like a knock off Nike I was talking about a different company making a shoe that looks like another company's. The Air Cruz also like the Yeezy 2 took inspiration from other previous Nike shoes and added some extra flare. While both shoes at the time where still under the same company though, not taking inspiration from another brand.

That's the Air Trainer 3 outsole and midsole tho.
This shoe is mostly air trainer 3. Its what happens when you take leftover ideas from the Yeezys and stick them on an AT3.
Its a good looking shoe, but let's not go ahead and call it the design of 2015 when it was mostly designed in 1988.

Listening to Victor Cruz speak about the Air Cruz on his show I can see why the all Red pair might not release now.

And why is that. I really want the all red pair more than any of the other colorways. Nike will release it on a random sunday like they did with the Yeezy 2 "Red Octobers".

He says on his show that they brought several colorways to Nike and some where denied. Listen to the Complex link I posted at around 27 minutes in.

Nike actually rejects colorways. With some of the terrible instant outlet colorways they put out I thought they just used a dart board :\

Cruz don't even deserve a shoe this good...Greys will be copped though [emoji]128293[/emoji][emoji]128293[/emoji]

Basically what I got from him while listening to the show is that the Red colorway resembled the Yeezy 2 Red October too much and would present some type of problem. That was my take on it but you all can listen to it for yourselves.

SMH at people badmouthing the Ultra Boosts. It's def a simple looking shoe but still looks great and is heaven on your feet. I guess if something has a white midsole then it's copying a nike design.

Unfortunately I listened to the podcast. It was awful. Said there was 7 colors, some got rejected. Shoe was originally a high top. I want to see the high top and the other versions. I'm all in for the royal blue. I'm happy they're last. Shoe will lose hype by then.

Ultra boost are classics.

I love the swoosh but adidas have made some heat.
Repped & AGREED! I feel like Adidas is the only brand that can even step in the ring with Nike personally and that's just being real! They've also had classic sneakers imo they just turned it up to another level.

The Air Cruz is like 2-3 years too late. I have little faith that he'll even play this year and I wonder what happens if he never plays again.

OBJ is more deserving IMO, but he has terrible taste in shoes.
