had that same kind of feel,but of course being on netflix gives it the room to have an r rating which def makes the show better

Show is okayso far ... i know homosexuality is apart of our country but why does it have to be forced down our throats as if its an indoctrination to a lifestyle we migh5 disagree with? Its less hetero relationships and topics being covered and more transgendered homoerotic stories populating the consciousness of the straight man and woman....

I figured this was coming, but it's some random show on Netflix, no one's being forced. Plus I believe one of the directors is transgender. I just look at as a way to tell 8 people's stories and keeping it different and interesting, and I gotta say, i've never seen a a complete transformation like that on film, where she just looks like she has lesbian body instead of being transgender.

Show wrapped up a little shaky though for me, it felt a bit rushed there at the end.

I'm always cool when shows choose to have different cultures speak in English as opposed to their native language.
I don't mind the shows that use the native tongue either though because I always watch Tele with CC on anyway.

They are speaking their own languages in the show, but they just had them speak English for us to understand it all if that makes any sense.
Like when she was singing, and her sister was like "you were singing in English" even though she said that statement(and everything else in English). Or when bus driver and Korea chick were like you speak my language? when they both were speaking English for audience.
I don't mind subtitles personalty, but I don't mind the way they did it. At least they acknowledged it with their dialogue. It probably would be someone difficult to direct and episode in 4-5 different languages.

Really ambitious show, start was a bit shaky for me, but all and all great show.
I actually care for all 8 characters; for a while I thought Lito & the Indian chick were useless, but they proved me wrong.
Can't wait for Season 2.

i just watched episode 6 this ish is outta pocket i can not watch this show anymore, i watched expecting fighting action but it turned into something i cant even watch no more. show idea is dope, but the graphic scenes are outta pocket

For me a lot of the awkwardness comes from the stark contrast in the characters' thick accents. Typical shows/movies may have one or two actors with accents that stand out but not 8(well 6 cause Nomi & Will are both American). Lito filming those novelas/films in English was dumb
Next season they should explore them speaking in their native languages.

Finally finished watching Season 1 and I think they show is awesome. It started off slow but all came together at the end. This is definitely a show that revolves more around character development as opposed to action like Daredevil. Looking forward to Season 2.

Just finished watching the season. Like others said, it moved too slow and I felt like there wasn't really formal introductions when some of them met each other. I dont even recall if some of them even met each other before the last episode. Also like someone else said the homosexuality was kind of forced down our throats

Just finished Season 1 last night and I really enjoyed it.
When Van Damn and Sun team up 
Def my favorite parts.
If there's one thing the Wachowskis are good at, it's action. The fight sequences and gun battles were great. I also absolutely loved the fact there were multiple real car chases.
Can't wait for Season 2.

. Nomi's girlfriend is bad too. Beautiful skin, pretty face very nice. Just curious, is she les for real?I have a question. I think it was in ep 1 when they were going at it. The black girl had a strap on, and was using it on Nomi. When she was done, she threw it on the floor and it was literally dripping. At that time I didn't know Nomi was trans. When I found out, you could imagine my confusion. Was I incorrect in assuming that Amanita was the giver, and NOmi was receiving? I haven't gone back to watch the scene since I now know the truth
