size question

Hello folks, so I am kind of cunfused with a shoes size... so generally I wear a EU 40 size, wich is US 7.. The last shoes i bought are a pair or Air Max Lunar1: wich i love so i have decided i want the womens version: then in europe the womens size chart is also EU40.. My question here is, i have looked at the internet, and i found that if you are a man that wears a US 7 you should look for a women US 8.5... according to nike charts: i should still buy the EU 40 right ? thanks!
