Without NT, I really wouldn't be up on current events. Everything here is interesting and relevant to me. I don't use any other type of social media.

Other than that, I feel like us, NT, are just better than everyone else.

I hear you, but in times when the people in my life don't wanna hear my ******** ya'll got my back. Might take a summer break though.





sidenote, i've done a suicide suspension by intentionally telling whatmorecanisuck what to eat.

In my mind is be like yo umma read books workout meditate draw study and meet women

But soon as I get off work I just say "nah I'm good " lol

I'm surrounded by women. Two daughters, a gf and a female golden retriever.

I gotta come here to get **** off my chest and be who I can't always be at work or home.
 
I work a job with a lot of down time. At one point in my career they had me come in for work to do practice problems :x

A lot of accounting firms just have you around for no reason on off seasons :smh: They have the interns playing kickball and ****.

Now that im done with the CPA i need to get back into my old hobbies and log off NT on my phone.
 
fomo is a big part of why im on here.

did something similar a couple years back but gave in after a week or two. been on here since 01. :smh:

I've been on NT since 05'. It's my one stop shop for news, entertainment, and all things in between. It's easy to spend hours on this place, but I don't consider it to be an addiction. I go days at a time without visits or posting, especially when I'm immersed in real life. It's been integrated into my life and I don't have any worries about it being an addiction, as it doesn't interrupt with other aspects of life. NT's been a source of help for me more times than none. Not gonna turn my back on it ever. :nthat:

I took a break from Nov till like May. Working 30 hrs plus fulltime school, i just didnt have time for it.
Its good to take a breather, you also become productive.

Do it OPEE. Come back with stories forthe famb.

I get a lot from NT but I'm wondering if the wasted time outweighs the benefits
 
I've always thought this way about myself. Not a day goes by where I dont come to NT at least once combined with the fact that I just post a ton. Monday- Friday I'm at work so its just there for use all the day.

Doesnt hinder me though, when I have real work to do I open up the Self Control app on my phone and block NT for 2-3 hours and turn off my phone.



I love NT and I dont see any reason to feel funny about it.

Yeah man... i remember cutting out cable from my life... grades jumped through the roof. :lol:



i look at my bosses and successful people in my life.. .and they tend to not waste any down time. they're always doing something productive, working, or relaxing... and the relaxation is normally spent with family, or cultivating relationships.

i need NT to be a lot less of my go to for sources because we CAN be a little bit bias in our viewpoints, and because if it doesnt come across here, I'm oblivious to it. :lol:


I wish Meff would post his thoughts in here.

Pure Entertainment for me. I like here more than twitter because of the more people here, and because you have to be witty to be funny because of rules and censors and stuff.
