I was looking for this thread a few days ago when I seen the date announced. I wasn't gonna check it out until I heard Long Live the Chief.

It's crazy, the label really gave him four singles with videos. They really tried to get one more to catch and none of them did.

Just finished the first play, and I like it. I thought the reggae and singing tracks were a nice break from the rapping.

This album has a little bit of afrobeat, little bit of new jackswing, little bit of Hip-Hop. I like "White Negro" alot. That tracks stands out to me. Album is ehhhhh overall, i dunno' if i can really get into it and listen to it again. Take a listen for yourselves.

This was a very disappointing album from Jidenna. Production was mehhhh and some very horrible hooks on this album. It just feels all over the place and lacks any cohesiveness.

I really like this first song! I listened to his other albums and wasn't really impressed but i might like this one.

Album is smooth from top to bottom. Didn’t waste album space with filler, didn’t make the project too long or too short. This’ll be in rotation for a minute. Feeling this more than Jeezy’s project and just as much as Peewee’s as far as today’s releases.
