Air Max Webber/Sensation Returns Spring 2016...

good news... i need barages, turmoils and woodsons to retro and i'll be done with shoes forever.
 
This pair pffff  is one of the few gems i didn't had the chance to own  , i remember clearly the day i saw these in a sport store named Decathlon in france .

At that time i was playing basketball in my local team , my father refused to buy me another pair to hoop in since my Shaq's were still in decent condition .

(Shaq was my role model @ that time since i was a pivot / Center  )

The funny thing is he bought me a pair of neon AM 95  few month later for christmas  , and the next year i got my black more uptempo just before attending

an Adidas ABC Summer camp .... great memories 
 
damn i wanted the og retro black that had the patnent leather on the nike logos/ i remember i couldn't afford them they had the finish line exclusive tag on them and it read 139.99/... :frown: 
 
Hope the heel tab doesn't say AIR on it. Not 100% deal breaker but I want something different there. Would be great if they can redesign the CW logo so they can put it on the shoes.

Had the black/royal so I won't be going for those. Unless it's color blocked differently. Other than that, White/royal or the Wizards Road cw for me.

got busted on pot charges in jamaica and fila dropped him when he was with the wizards then he came to sacramento and got on with dada.

This. But before he got with Dada he wore the Reebok Answer II and some And1 kicks.

I pray Nike and C. Webb reunite for this rendition and properly being back the Air Max CW. They're had some dialogue since he left the brand. Nike asked him back in 2002 if they could include his image in that Sole Collector book and he obliged. And now that he's retired and needs money for a decent haircut I'm sure he'll come back home to the swoosh.

prolly one of the best years for shoes ever

they better do them right this time, the last few retros of them were straight trash, not even worth outlet prices. Such a shame but if they do them correctly i will grab a pair. only 1 girl had them at my junior high when they came out and it was the white/blue pair so those and the black/blue will be a must if done decently
 
The Black/Royal was my first Air Max2 Shoe. I had them for my freshman year in High School in August of 1995. I remember telling my parents that I wanted them for school, and when I came back from out of town for the weekend, there they were sitting there for me. :D Fresh from Palais Royal. The black/royal pair will always hold a special place in my heart because of the memories.

As far as performance, they were great shoes. I still have my 02 white/navy retros. Great Traction, Comfort, and responsiveness and they locked down the foot really well.
 
^^^ do people in France rock retro nike bball kicks alot?

  Retro bball kicks is not something new in Europe/ France  , they always have been , probably not as popular as the running shoes but people who have strong connection with basketball sport 

and grew up in the 80/90's era   like me   appreciate  , we were a minority  until mid 2000 , now it's different and all about fashion . 

I don't think the air max sensation  will sold very well  in Europe  but who cares  , we will eat surely .....

Oh and i saw pictures of the Air Garnett 3 also  , be prepared !

First time i saw them i didn't even know if it was a signature shoe or not  , for me it was  the basketball version of the AM95 and vice versa  , i just loved the design at that time and still do 20 years later !
 
that pic looks pretty good, will wait to see in person and probably cop on discount, i hope the other colorways arent horrible

I do remember a lot of people had the OG versions. This sneaker was beloved in the streets and still sells whoever they've been retroed. I recall them dropping a dope wht/blk colorway back in Summer 2002.

Remember my freshman year back in '95 going into The Athlete's Foot store and seeing these on the racks. Of course my parents would have laughed at the price then laughed at me for even asking.
