Air Max Webber/Sensation Returns Spring 2016...

classic! reminds me of 8th grade and only 1 person in my school had them and i loved the OGs

Similar backstory to mine.

I wasn in the 7th grade tho, and this guy in the eighth grade had both white/navy and black/blue pair with c webb's warriors jersey...both home and away colors as well.

He was the only guy in my junior high reppin c webb to the fullest !

I eventually picked up a pair a year later when I was in the 8th grade, found the bullets color way at a nike outlet.

Lol...dang, your best friend was very very blessed to have owned so many classic Nike shoes during Nike's golden era of sneakers.

I can totally relate to how you felt.

I had this one kid I went to school with since elementary, and since back then he was drapped in all the newest Nikes, air brushed overalls, whatever he had it.

I use to be so jealous of him.

And he was big and tall too, so he started wearing men sizes before alot of us, so his pairs of shoes had that better quality too.

He had one thing about him I wasn't jealous of, and that was his non athletic ability! Lol
As big and tall as he was, he couldn't play sports to save his life...at that moment I felt better about myself. Lol

That's nice your friend is a humble and genuine person.

I wish I could say the same about the kid in my story, but unfortunately he was a narcissistic prick! Lol

Congrats on being one of the best baseball players in your state at that time, you must of been really good.

yeah but my college coach made me hate baseball, he was the worst coach ever and thought he was a genius because he played pro ball in the minors but oh well what was is in the past

Man that's unfortunate.

You hear these stories about athletes and how great they could of been, if they had the right coach or were on the right team, and this reminds of your story.

For example...Jeff green is my favorite active Nba player right now. He did good with Seattle/Okc when he was there, and when he got traded to Boston he had his best years...post open heart surgery. Doc rivers trusted him enough to take big shots, PP and KG mentored him and eventually started believing in his skill during big game moments. Now he's with Memphis and it's fair to say the trade has not worked out. He's on the wrong team with the wrong coach.

He's not even starter anymore.

yeah i feel that, i broke homerun records in high school, i led the county in so many categories and should have done the same in college but i lost the passion for it with the coach so i ended up flunking out of college (now that part was my fault) but i truly believe god didnt want me to play pro ball cuz like 5 years ago i was going to get into baseball shape and practice like i never had before and then i dislocated my ankle and havent been the same since so im good with it plus im on my way to money and the fame is for the birds anywhoo, i want my peace when i vacation or do anything in public

I'm sorry to hear about the tough breaks.

But i'm sure you'll find something else in life that will replicate the passion you had for baseball...if you haven't found it already?

yeah i still play softball for the team comradery and ive gotten more into god and he is changing my life in every way, i couldnt be happier!

those are clean but could have been much better. would have went with a navy midsole and white outsole. maybe all navy leather upper and silver and yellow threaded toe and ankle swoosh. maybe yellow and navy airmax tongue logo

the navy painted midsole on the middle part looks out of place

That is great to hear !

I sure could use some spiritual food for thought in my life right now.

I'm going through a significant change in my life, and this last month has been very challenging.
