This is racism... 4th grade teacher... Lets say we have a young black girl that comes through her class.

Imagine the deep seeded damage a teacher could do.

People get ****** up over a 5 minute sexual interaction...

This lady has face to face contact with the girl for 9 months, 6 hours per day... Subtly berating her... Subtly not giving her s chance... Subtly drowning her confidence.



Tell me that doesn't have an impact.

And where the **** is oneillmatt and tampadude...

I think what I meant by that may have been misinterpreted, of course the teacher should be fired immediately and handled in the strictest of ways, and the school should change their hiring policies etc...

But it's just the notion that lately every single racial dispute immediately goes viral and the whole country has to hear about it. In my opinion that makes these racists bigots emphasized and shined upon, and may influence others to behave similarity if given a commonality with others doing so.

I just think these incidences shouldn't be nationwide stories every single time, and should be handled in the strictest of ways locally without the national attention

There should be one big thread on racism, with these types of stories in them. It's completely unnecessary to make a thread every time someone says or does something racist.

i think every racist story should be brought to the for front...people act like this stuff doesn't happen...sorry if racism is an inconvenience for you to see...but it's a bigger inconvenience for people that live it everyday...

all the different debates raging on at once, all the different topics.


in one day in America 10 different race-related front page incidents can occur.


that's not even me being hyperbolic, truth is only a fraction of the stuff that occurs on the daily actually makes it on NT.


it's funny to me when folks say "another race thread", yes another.....to be honest we could flood General on the daily with all the stuff that pop up.


it would probably shut up all the sheltered NTers who quantify incidents of racism and police brutality as "isolated incidents" tho.

I mean what's next you want all police brutality and police murders put in the same thread? Just cuz it deals with the same overall topic?

Nah, new thread for each incident to constantly remind you how ****** up this world is. If you don't need a reminder it won't bother you as much.
