i really cant see curry getting any better... he is really good already so it will be tough for him to exceed that unless he develops a post up game...these guys are already pretty good but they can definitely get better... heres my list

Hmmm, dope list. As far as "megastars" go though, I personally don't see Klay, Jimmy, Damian, or Boogie becoming that.

Not a single person on that list will be a Megastar in 5 years. No one will be even close. Megastars are LeBron right now. Kobe in the 2000s. No one on that list has any chance of being at the level. Frankly, it baffles me how anyone could possibly think that they could be.

I'm almost leading towards dland. He'll definitely be the best player in the league but the markability,and other stuff is to be determined. I mean he has to eclipse Shaq on those levels to reach that rare air. It'll be tough. He has the best chance though just because the transcendent talent he is.

I think people really underestimate the role that winning plays with "megastars." You can't be a megastar w/o winning. Then on top of winning, you have to have some type of charisma, flair, to your career that extends beyond your on court performance.
Based on that I feel like in 5 years maybe (but probably not) AD, Blake, Kyrie, are the only 3 to me who at the moment I could see contending, and having strong enough brands to maybe break into that air of megastar.
But I for sure hear you and would have to side with you.

Curry is already the next megastar. Just beat LeBron to win a championship, led the All-Star Game in votes and his shoes sell out basically first day in every color for a brand that's just really getting started in basketball.

Nah, love Steph's game but he didn't eem get Finals MVP. Don't think anyone came out of that series thinking Curry was the best in the world.

Finals mvp or not he's a superstar and has joined Bron and KD as the main faces of the league. I'd say he's entered megastar territory.

Im taking Russ all day. And I'm normally someone that will give big men an edge. Like I'd take AD over Russ but I can't justify Blake.

That still doesn't explain why he's in there over AD. And didn't Russ eviscerate last postseason and this season? They both fade somewhat down the stretch of games, Russ more often for doing too much and Blake not enough. Russ has consistently been farther in the playoffs.
