They don't have a big cartel influence there so don't worry about that. If you can go deep sea fishing for some tuna.

Went to Cabo on a cruise once and as long as you don't stray too far from the touristy areas you should be good.

I was in Cabo last month and there are tons of things to do. Your resort should be able to get you info for activities (ATV's, booze cruise, fishing, swimming with dolphins, etc...) Always negotiate the prices for activities and use this site to gauge prices.

The nightlife is cool, they have some pretty cool clubs. All you have to do is grab a cab and tell them to take you downtown and you will be in the thick of it.
There will be children begging for money but don't give them anything unless you want to start a riot.
PS: There is a bar called the Happy Ending where you get 2 tequila shots for a dollar.

thanks for that info. Not staying at resort. We rented like a 10 bedroom mansion with personal concierge and chef. Will avoid the begging kids.

I would've loved to go to cancun but I had nothing to do with planning.
Hoping to hit cancun. Actually do a Miami and then cancun trip.
My boys did all this planning and I just going along for the ride.
