Rubio has been in the Senate almost 5 years. He has more experience than Obama did on the federal level than Obama did.
He didn't lie, just embellished. The scandal came and went. It won't effect his ability to get the nominations. And yea Jeb was his mentor. Nothing wrong with that. Then he burst into the national scene in 2010 and made a name for himself.

We are the masters of our fate not white people. And once black America realizes this we'll he much better off. But people like Rusty don't want to because then it would mean that if we fall then we have no one to blame but ourselves. GOP wants to cut spending. So why not cut military spending or corporate welfare. Where you can make bigger cuts and save the most money.
No, instead they target education and social safety nets that they know African Americans participate in, at higher rates, or will disproportionately hurting minorities.
They favor tax breaks and credits for the rich and corporation on the principle of "supply side economics" When supply side economics has failed in this country over and over, and continues to fail. Just look at Kansas
But they never try programs targeted at helping the poor and lower middle class on a large scale. To grow the consumer base. Why? Because maybe because minorities are over represented in those demographics

I never once even came close to saying this. I want robust social programs because the help the poor and I want a end to white supremacy because those things hold the community back as a whole.
I believe in progressive programs partly because they will disproportionately help my people

For centuries the social structure of the United States are kept the black community from build wealth and economic power. Once you get it through your head that throwing money at black people is NOT going to fight anything. I've seen some horrible comments that many of you all have said about black people on here. Some have gone so far as to say that black people have been psychologically damaged and white people are to blame. So if that's the case no amount of money can correct that. What's needed is a complete override of many black peoples belief that we are owed something. Because that's what's killing us. Sitting waiting around for someone to help us. We're becoming stagnant. And all you crying institutional racism aren't helping. Once you give people a reason (true or not) that theit station in life is not there own fault, you take the motivation away. Waiting for handouts? Pa I support myself working full time, help my moms, help pay off my sister's student loans since she overseas, still find time to volunteer to help folk in the community, and in grad school
I don't have my handout asking for help for no man. I want the economic for my people to flourish. I'm doing find, if my taxes a lil go up to fund programs that help black folk I would more than happy to pay them. I want to see my people as a whole flourish, because I have confidence in myself to take care of myself, I'm not some coward afraid that I don't deal with my taxes going up a lil.
And at the same time I know other black folk have not had the same opportunities I have had.
