Donald Trump is running for president

^ You don't read much do you? My initial post on his page said I was also looking at Ben Carson...But you probably don't know who he is.

I've actually read two of Carson's books, and thought pretty highly of him as a black man who came from a lot of struggles to be the success he is. Then after hearing his political views and thoughts on police brutality, he basically exposed himself as a whitewashed black man who is aloof to black issues.

You also said you respect Trump, and would vote for him if no other Republican steps up, meaning that you clearly support his ignorant views. You said you support the way he bluntly puts things because everyone else is afraid to say them. Well, he has bluntly put his ignorance out there, so once again, it doesn't surprise me that you would support him, being that you freely put your ignorance out there yourself. Fools tend to back other fools.

This is also one of the few instances I'd like to match the rep to the SN, cause I'd like to know the goof that agreed with your original foolish statement.

Why is it that every time a black man is on side with the police, he's automatically looked negative upon to the black community and called whitewashed and Uncle Tom? This is where the problem lies man. People don't see the issue here.

I said I respect Trump? Quote me on that dude. Because last I checked, I only agreed with his immigration policies and views.. Stop putting words in my mouth to make me look bad dude. That's what you guys do and then others read your post and switch to your sides, etc. That's how you act. What ignorance do I put out there?

My ignorance like my views on immigration which this link supports?

Son posted a link to an article of a site owned by a bigot. Haha!

Ironic that you totally missed/ignored his point on why he thinks dr carson is an uncle tom.

I have a question.

Do you understand the issues the black community has with police culture and the justice system in America? If so please state them

Why are yall still entertaining this dude. He's either blatantly racist or extremely ignorant ..either way not worth responding too

That's just one of the few links I randomly posted, but you can search 'immigrants on welfare' and it will give you links. I like Ben Carson on how he feels about illegal immigration. I don't like Jeb Bush because he supports undocumented immigrants. You guys are changing this to a race thread, which is sad and shows your education. You guys are debating out of anger, bias, and frustration and most of the root of it is from the media and how they portray people. That's how you guys debate, you guys bringing another topic and then things get focused out of context and you guys get even more angry, and snitch to Meth and beg him to ban me but I'm not breaking any rules, etc.

Why does he keep calling us uneducated when he's dirt poor (his words, not mine)? Nothing wrong with not having money, but I don't understand how someone so "highly educated" and superior to the rest of us illiterate peasants is poor and afraid of undocumented immigrants taking away his job opportunities. Undocumented immigrants can't even get any job highly educated people get

Funniest thing is most well off people regardless of which political party they support don't actually give a @$!@ about illegal immigration. Republicans and Democrats alike hire illegal immigrants for all sorts of jobs they'd have to pay an American 5x for; you really think they want them gone? **** with that nonsense  all this anti illigal immigrant talk is to gain votes and nothing else

Thanks for dodging question earlier. But you don't need to share your political views with us because I'm pretty sure from our interactions with you in the past, especially with racial issues, we've got a good sense of wear you lean.

I believe the saying goes "not every republican is racist, but every racist is a republican"

I've been Black for roughly 33 years and that might be the single stupidest comment on race I've ever heard.

I don't care about anyone's past post history or race baiting. If you truly believe that, you need to grow up. Not that it really make a difference, but I really hope you're not voting age.

Do I think it's a huge generalization, absolutely. But do i think that that statement was based on absolutely nothing? Definitely not.

Oh it's based on something... Namely your ignorance (in the literal sense). Like I said, I hope you're young with time to grow, because it seriously sounds like you need to experience some actual life.

Racism is systematic, not party specific. You think a tried and true racist wouldn't heed your words and hide in plain site? Wake up.

Of course I know racism isn't party specific. People on both sides contribute to the system every day, both consciously and unconsciously. That's not news, and it's definitely not new to me. I'm saying that with past interaction with this guy on multiple occasions we all knew where he stood politically with out him having to say "hi I'll be voting republican". And it wasn't JUST based on race.

That's cool. I'm not trying to be difficult, just had to see where you were coming from. I'll stop now before i get on my "illusion of choice" soapbox.

If you have info to share to clear up ignorance of any kind you're not doing anyone a favor by keeping it to yourself.

as for highness, there's a reason he's met with hostility where ever he pops up, particularly in threads that focus on political/social issues. he comes in playing the "people hate me because my views are different" but some of the things he has said and implied about black people as a race are straight up atrocious. I don't attribute those things to him being a republican, or conservative, or "the right", but with those views I'm not surprise in the slightest he leans the way he leans, and supports who he supports.

It's going to sound like I'm joking (no pun intended) but my political views are pretty much in line with the late George Carlin. I'm actually amazed that the alleged most advanced society in the history of mankind has 300+ million people who are willing to label themselves this or that. 2 sides of the same coin that the ruthless pull out of their pocket and flip just to see how to move on a given day.

As for any fool who gets you worked up over the game: remember that voting is not a competitive sport. If you're going to play the game, play it right (you got to know when to hold 'em...). Point is, you should be voting for YOUR best interst. Unfortunately, particularly with a 2 party system, you WILL be voting with people you don't agree with on multiple issues. It's inevitable. Things might change if the nonexistent independent party would magically get some major 24 hour media support just to shake things up.

I'm clearly cynical these days, so take advice from this political agnostic with a grain of salt.

but that makes sense though, we dont have a system that allows us to vote for someone who represents ALL of our interests. we have to compromise in some way

the current system sucks. Why don't we have online voting yet? Why is the electoral college still a thing?

Because they don't want millennials from Cali, Texas and NY to decide who our next president will be because they saw one of their friends liking a post on Instagram.

I think he makes it a point to call everyone "uneducated" because we call him ignorant ( which he is).
I agree that well off people can give a damn about the illegal immigration issue. I'm pretty sure all of them have illegals working for them. Most jobs that illegal immigrants are hired for, majority of Americans wouldn't want anyway. But, companies who hire illegals and are caught, should have to pay huge fines in amounts where it would've been cheaper to hire citizens to do the job. Even though I'm uneducated, thankfully my job is secured and an illegal immigrant won't be able to take it.

The electoral college is a thing because it helps smaller states and makes winner of the presidential election clearer.
