What a great day. #1 Option, 20/20 DJ.

Milked Parsons for dozens of hookers and dinners

Can't wait for another 2nd round exit. LEGGO!

Never have embraced Clippers hate more in my life. Bring it.

meh. i dont see a prob in DJ's actions. people get engaged and call off the wedding all the time. It's just business. It's not personal. He made a decision and then he changed his mind, before he ever signed anything legal, and then he made another decision. One of the laws of business, it's not real until you get the paperwork. You can't take anything that DJ said as law, if he was getting domed up from Dallas strippers and shooting the best coke in the city. If dude was pres, he'd give you launch codes in that position. Doesn't count.

what if DJ was secretly going for the Clippers all along and was sent by Ballmer to district the Mavs and in the process weaken them

deandre is a grown *** boy, aint no way his agent convinced him. he just got cold feet at the end. fegan probably didnt want to look bad since it was basically a done deal and would be in poor taste to renege so he probably tried to tell deandre that it would be a poor move to go back.

deandre representing himself probably gotta pay fegan regardless for breaking their agreement

Nothing wrong with changing his mind.

Not being man enough to tell Cuban and Dallas is childish though.

Oh and as much as I despise the Clippers I think they get past the 2nd round this year. They absolutely have to. With the Lance and Piru pickups I don't see how they don't get there. Unless they run into GS or SA they should make it. I hope they don't tho. That whole organization is a bunch of clowns starting with Beamin' Screamin' Balmer.

There's no good reason he didn't pick up that extra year. Absolutely none. Don't care. It don't matter what you feel like you have in the tank. He will be 30 by time that contract is over. You go thru all of that you get your money.
See that's what happens when you don't have your agent in the room.

Nah. DJ was always going to sign a 4 year deal. Its pretty easy to gamble on yourself when you would have made $100M by the time you're due the next deal.

Its genius. Its what Lebron is doing (not trying to compare the two). In this day and age, if you;re a max player, signing a full extension with no player opt out doesn't make sense.

A guy like Wes Matthews will go for a full extension because he;s not on that level.

I know what you're saying but its different times right now. In two years, "good players" will be making $20M per, great players will be making $30M+. Its sad.

Lockout coming in 2-3 years.

Nope. It was definitely his agent, with some great convincing from Cuban and company, that made him initially decide to be a Mav.

Deandre isn't representing himself. Someone from Fegans agency was there supervising. They still getting paid for this deal. Max players don't really need that representation like you might think. Its a pretty easy job being an agent for max players. How much selling do they really need to do?

Being Wes Matthews agent, coming off achilles tear, is a tough job.

Half of yall acting like DJ some sort of genius that found out his evil agent was pushing him or some sort of genius that used Chandler and Cuban for hookers and food.

Nah. Dude is just stupid and easily influenced.

Yea well 84M in Dallas is a whole hell of a lot better than 84M in Cali.
