And he;s definitely going to opt out after 3, no doubt, unless he suffered some type of injury. I think he would be due a 5 year $150M deal in 3 years. Something in that range when his 3 years are up.

Ok gotcha now that makes all the sense in the world. He's young enough. Opt out of his current max at year 3 then double up and hit em over the head with a huge 5 year max. I can dig that.
But he better pray for no injuries and that he keeps his production up.
As a matter of fact his next big payday may not even be contingent on his health but CP3's health. He better hope Chris don't go down.

even if his points dip with CP3 health in decline, he's still going to get a monster deal. He'll never seen anything less than a 5 year $100M deal in his future, UNLESS he gets hurt.

Thats his only worry. But how worried can he be when he;s made bank? Wes Matthews proved injuries mean nothing now. He suffered one of the worst injuries you can have

lol CP3 with the banana boat emoji I'm dying :lol: DeAndre didn't sign an offer sheet tho with the Mavs. It was verbal agreement but the rules of the Collective Bargaining Agreement say that Players can't sign or verbally agree to teams until the moratorium is over. Its the NBA's own rules.
