One step at a time, who are you guys to NBA draft and how it can possibly impact the franchise?

KAT, I believe with a good veteran signing Wolves can make the playoff.

Okafor, I just don't see how that will improve add the have Randle. It will be interesting to see. Not making playoff.

Sixers probably trade the pick or draft Z or Russell and trade then for draft picks. Either way, they aren't going anywhere and I don't they will want to draft Russell as he cancel on them for try outs.

Mudai, all people know is the HS. If he is as good as advertised and a few good signing the Knicks will be playoff team.

David lee and the warriors mutually agree to seek out trades. Where do you think he will / should land
One good thing about Blatt is that, unlike Scott Brooks, he used Perkins to perfection.
I never understood why a team will sign a player that the coach knows he will never play when the game is on the line. I swear when the media heard about this signing the liaise the Cavs and started over and over that the Cavs note have an enforcer. Where was he???? How about doing sign the dude and get someone that can contribute ????

So it's been asked twice. Is anyone going to answer...

HOW DO YOU EMBED INSTAGRAM VIDEOS?

Rockets need a point guard, and maybe move Dwight while he still has some value. Gotta get more scoring down lown and help for James because he has proven he can't do it solo night in night out in the playoffs.

Wouldn't this mean Green would depart?

Bye DG if it means hello LMA

Did Adidas design those championship hats with Microsoft Word? They're [emoji]128686[/emoji]

Cant make a pick this early, too much up in the air. If LMA comes to San Antonio though...... Party done.

He's already gone IMO. He's going to go and chase the money and get his 8-10Ms a year and I do not blame him one bit.

Insert cliche "Anyone can come into the Spurs and shoot great cause of the offense so Green wont be hard to replace" comment.

RJ Hunter needs to drop to San Antonio.
Doesn't that create a jam at big man with Thiago / Timmy / LMA?
Not really. Splitter is hurt, and he'd be better served playing off the bench with Diaw. Worst case scenario we just move Splitter, Baynes is serviceable, not really as good as an around the rim finisher but he's much bigger.

TP9 / Manu driving and dishing with LMA / 21 sitting on the elbows looks like beautiful basketball

He sees it. Lets hope LMA does too. Plus no state income tax in TX.

Wouldnt even be mad. As long as Byron Scott would let him shoot the 3ball I feel like he would enjoy his time out there. Him and Nick Young would have fun together, no one on the Spurs currently is a party guy like Danny Green is. He'd get to go do those things with somebody in LA.

they still have to pay state income for games played away, from what i understand. so it isn't some huge tax discount

You're right about the away games portion, but it really is a huge advantage. Remember Dwight Howards deal? Get got paid 40M less in gross between Houston and LA and still netted out more money.

Its actually something that the owners complain about all the time that the Texas and Florida teams have unfair advantages in Free Agency. Texas and Florida teams have to use less of their cap to give players value comparable to other teams from a net income standpoint
Now that seven-time NBA all-star Dwight Howard has chosen to sign with the Houston Rockets, the L.A. Lakers can at least start planning. The Lakers lost out despite offering the star $118 million over five years (7.5% annual hikes). Why did he take Houston’s much lower $87.6 million over four years (4.5% annual increases over his existing contract)? Taxes matter, and tax advisers calculate Howard will collect more after-tax on the smaller deal. The Lakers are in California, with a killer 13.3% top tax rate. In Texas, there’s no state income tax. It isn’t enough to look at who is highest paid, but rather who the highest paid is after taxes.
