The Boston Celtics have offered Marcus Smart and picks No. 16 and 28 in the first round to the Philadelphia 76ers for Nerlens Noel and the No. 3 pick.

Us diehards are highly critical of him, and for good reason. We're not your average fan though, and Karl is very appealing to the average fan because he brings an exciting brand of basketball and rarely misses the playoffs.

For the record, I do like George Karl. He is a good coach for what he is. He's a personable guy.

Edit: i know it sounds like I'm contradicting myself, but it is possible to like someone, yet still criticize them when it's warranted. I do not understand the people who have blind love for Karl.
